After a lot of difficulty finding it (my problem not theirs) the host was welcoming and showed the rooms and provided towels soap and slippers and closed the curtains and put on the a/c. The night was quiet. Breakfast was simple but good and early enough for us to leave on time.

My friend's room did not have a/c. My room had a door leading to a balcony which had a light on late into the night. Hot milk for breakfast with tea which was ok but a bit unusual - coffee would have been better or hot water for the tea. (We had only a short time otherwise I would have raised this with the host). Road to the place is a steepish climb and in very bad condition - if you come by your own car beware. We came by a bajaji and walked down in the morning which was fine.

Ms. Jackie, a friendly and kind person, plus an efficient and enterprising entrepreneur runs the establishment, supported by her family and staff who are available all through at the property. We have had a good communication before arrival, and once there, we were well taken care of. The property is like a refurbished colonial bungalow, with wide, manicured grassy lawns interspersed with large margosa trees. We had most of our food on the lawns, and were served good food, made to specifications, with excellent cutlery and presentation, by the proprietor. Rooms were big and spacious, with all creatures comforts. The proprietor also helped us in many ways, in making various arrangements in logistics, travel etc as well. Also, we managed to arrange a small workshop as a part of our business trip, in the premises, which we hired. I hope more travelers get to experience the hospitality offered by Ms. Jackie and her staff

The property is being renovated, both rooms and landscaping, and it seems there are big plans to upgrade it. It dind't pose a problem for us, and we had this wonderful property all to ourselves during the five days we stayed here. A bit out of town, bu then again, if one doesn't have pressing business to be in the heart of the commercial district with all its chaotic traffic and noise, this could be where you could wake up birdsongs, and yet reach the heart of Dar in under 20 minutes.

The location and value for money is worth it.

I would suggest that they light up the place from main gate. It is such a gem. I plan to get back there soon. I would also suggest if they can have warm water for the shower. Also to consider putting this on Google maps for easy access

nothing was bad but I advise them to have a point of payment as per the agreement vide the Visa card or any mobile payment at the property to avoid inconvenience
