Our second stay here, we absolutely love it, our peaceful and happy place! It will be a yearly stay. Everything you need in a cute and cosy little hut, the lake and surroundings are beautiful, the team are super friendly and always waving when we walk by which we find so lovely. We 100% recommend this accommodation!

Caroline was lovely and gave us a great greeting. The hut was excellent and great location not far from York at all. We had a great weekend and the handpicked flowers hut was lovely on our way out, my partner treated me to some! :)

Perfect! Everything you needed under one hut roof. Peaceful and amazing views. The owners allowed me in early because I arrived that little too soon, which I appreciated.

The location is so peaceful and secluded it was exactly what you want on a vacation.

quiet location. lovely family owned business, made us feel very welcome. positioned on a small lake so ideal for watching birds- water hens, geese, oyster catchers, long tailed tits , robins, and red kites.

Great facilities, super modern and an amazing use of space in a small property. Everything was to a high standard.

The hut was fitted out to an amazing standard, we were nice and cosy all weekend the heating was great especially given the frosty weather. The family were so lovely and welcoming and the area was stunning. We will definitely be back!

The Sweet Pea Hut is a gorgeous little heaven. It is kitted out with everything you could need in a lovely contemporary way. The family who own the huts were so welcoming and communication regarding our stay was spot on.

A lovely pretty location by the lake. The hut was contemporary and clean. A lovely relaxing weekend only a short taxi ride from the beautiful city of york. The owners were lovely and around if you needed them

Relaxing setting, close enough to York but far enough for a countryside feel.
As mentioned to the host, a full length mirror would have been ideal as the only mirror was above the toilet in the bathroom which obviously steams up after showering. Complimentary toiletries would have been preferred for those who forget or are used to hotels.

This was such a remote location. It was so peaceful. It’s a short drive to York Outlet and York City. Best of both worlds. The heating was switch on for our arrival as it was a cold/windy/rainy day but we shortly turned it off and never turned it back on the whole weekend, the hut was so warm it was lovely. Our best short stay to date.

This place is like an oasis, literally!
The place is immaculate, most stunning views ever, just totally out standing, the pictures just don't do it any justice. It is very rare that my accomodation beats my expectations but this definitely has, it is just incredibly beautiful!

The hut was beautiful, a lake just outside the door, it was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly and welcoming. As soon as you arrive on the site you are greeted, they also help you transport your bags to the Hut. The Hut was clean with lovely decor. I highly recommend going here and having this experience.
