This apartment was amazing - we were only there for a few hours over night, but I think we could happily have lived there. Everything was very modern and clean. The host and his staff were also amazing. We asked to leave our big backpacks at the accommodation prior to travelling to Zanzibar for a week, which was allowed at a very reasonable rate. As we had trouble finding the place and were then running late to catch a plane, January (staff members) met us at the airport to collect our bags. He really went over and above - exceptional service!

It was really hard to find, although this could have been due to significant road upgrade works preventing us from accessing the property in the most direct route, and Google Maps being very confused!

This reservation was cancelled without warning by the host. I arrived at 23h to Dar es Salaam expecting to be collected as arranged by a driver who did not appear. There was no answer or contact from the host. I was left to stay all night in the airport. Terrible.

Totally fine for the purpose of booking we just slept a few hours before our flight and booked the taxi transfer as well otherwise it would be a little tricky to find the accommodation I guess. So the taxi driver was nice and the apartment is quite large and includes a living room as well

Excellent location--short distance from airport. But access to the property itself relies on an unpaved, narrow road for 1-2 km which is best managed by larger vehicles. The staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating.

Nothing really. I read a review before booking that referred to this place as a "hidden diamond." I wholeheartedly concur.

The place is super clean. Friendly staff. The driver picked me up at the airport on time. The owner makes follow-ups to make sure you are OK. Am quite happy with my stay there.

They do not save food on the premises although booking.com said they do. Come prepared... there are no restaurants around. They also add what they called city tax on the price quoted by booking.com. Its not much though.

If you're making a short trip to Dar Es Salaam and you need to be close to the airport, this place is perfect. Rooms are small but clean, and it has everything you need (including air conditioning and plenty of drinking water) at a great price. Be sure to book your airport pickup through the Villa management, because the villa is extremely difficult to find, and regular taxi drivers would have difficulty. (Even the driver sent by the villa made a wrong turn trying to find it!)

If you are spending several days in Dar es Salaam, I don't think this would be a good choice. It's in a slum far from the centre, far down an alleyway and very difficult to find. I would not feel comfortable coming and going from here after dark. The site itself has good security, but there is no pleasant place to just sit and relax -- not in the room, not in the common areas of the villa, and definitely not outside the villa.

The person in charge was extremely responsible and replied instantly. I never seen this kind of fast communication. I like it. Also taxi driver was very kind and responsible person. Transferred successfully in both directions.

In the room there was some electrical device which made noise and blinking light which made hard to sleep. Please remove it from room, if possible)

Transportation from airport was arranged. Our flight was early, but driver came immediately after notifications. He also assisted us the next to get on to the ferry.

Area around the villa is not what I had expected. Didn't feel safe to go out alone. Roads leading to the villa are not paved and location is difficult to find.

The property is very close to the airport. Communications were easy before coming. All information is given. Hot water was running, ac was also working fine. The room has living room and kitchen.

The receptionist (?) seemed to be a bit unaware of the arrival. When requesting the ammount that I have to pay, it was a bit hard. I wasn't even sure about the breakdown of the amount that I paid. Wifi was not working.

Very clean the hosts were very friendly drove us to the local shop to buy souvenirs

Value for money

There was no hot water in the morning, so we had to boil water, in order to bath.. No lined curtains, transparent for people to see from the outside

The friendliness and helpfulness of the young man who met me at the airport and took me to a local restaurant to eat. The accommodation was spacious with a large lounge cum kitchen and bedroom. I appreciated the fan and AC if required

The accommodation was tucked away down back streets, but in a safe and secure location. There were no facilities for making a drink apart from a kettle, so I had to provide my own teabags and coffee and milk. (There was a fridge). The shower door in the bathroom was very difficult to move, i.e. did not slide properly

Excellent location and facilities for an overnight stop in Dar es Salaam. Close to airport and efficient pickup and drop off service. January kindly collected a local meal of chicken and chips for a reasonable price. Beer and drinks available at a small shop next door.

Close to airport. Caretaker of the villas was at airport to pick me up (pick up service, with clear paper witm my name. Good introduction to the apartment (explaining the switches for light, sat TV, airco. Spacious: good relaxing after the travel.

The apartments were absolutely beautiful. They had nice bedrooms and living rooms. The had nice bathrooms, well designed and clean. The air condition worked perfectly well. Of the three hotels and apartment we stayed, this was the best. The host was very kind and helpful.
