We brought our family of 12 adults and 16 grandchildren to Smore's Sunrise Lake View Retreat. The information online and what was provided by hosts prior to our arrival was very accurate and helpful. Enjoy every moment at the cabin and surrounding areas.

I doubt you can find better views or better locations in or near the park. The cabin had endless entertainment inside and outside. Secluded but still close to everything in Hochatown. Our host responded very quickly when we had any questions.

The home is beautiful and a perfect set up for a family gathering. It is well suited for both adults and children. The views from the decks are stunning and the outdoor areas are very relaxing.

I cannot imagine a better location to host your next family reunion. This cabin had something amazing for every age group. Quiet corners to wonderful play spaces. The kitchen was so open and lovely. It brought everyone together. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and super nice. Everyone in attendance felt treated! Highly recommend!!

Thirty members of our Catholic Church senior ministry including our pastor was in the group. Facilities was adequate for a comfortable stay for thirty people. Place was clean, plenty of room for everything, kitchen and other facilities were enough to prepare meals for thirty. Service of the managers were super with excellent communications.

This amazing home is on a hilltop with two levels of large decking. Each level overlooks the rolling treetops with a glimpse of the lake in the distance. Our work group had plenty of space for privacy and enjoyed the common areas inside and out for our meetings and game time.

We stayed here for a combined Bachelor and Bachelorette party and had a fantastic time! We loved the large space to spread out and the multiple decks really came in handy since it did rain some. We even walked down to the river using the hiking trail located on the property! The only criticisms we had was that it wasn't as secluded as we thought, and even though it is located on 18 acres you still have close-ish neighbors. And it is a little thing but the bar soap they provided could have been upgraded from just bar soap to actual liquid soap or at least soap dishes for the bar soap. I have seen other VRBOs do full soap dispensers with hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner and that would have been really nice to have. But very minor things considering EVERY other detail was meticulously handled, down to providing basic supplies like razors, bandaids, bug spray, etc. We LOVED having the website with all the instructions about the cabin and its amenities, it definitely came in handy! All in all, we would HIGHLY recommend and stay here again!

My family and I had an excellent time at the S’mores Sunrise Cabin. It exceeded our expectations. Cabin is beautiful and has absolutely everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful sleeping spaces. Beautiful views and a great hot tub!!!! I will definitely be back!

Our company hosted our leadership team retreat at S'mores Sunrise, and it was a fantastic spot for the team to get away from the office and focus on goal-planning. A great space with a variety of activities to do around the cabin. Mark and Shannon were responsive and provided so much helpful information prior to our arrival. A spacious cabin that will exceed the needs for any size group!

This cabin has the best view. The cabin was well maintained, spacious, well stocked with essentials such as towels, laundry detergent, dishes, etc. We had an amazing stay. The fireplace on the patio was the family’s favorite spot. Fire pit was great for s’mores. Owners were very responsive.

The house was absolutely beautiful. We had a group of 31 women with plenty of room to move about. The sunrise is breathtakingly beautiful! Kitchen has everything we needed to prepare our meals, Beds were comfortable. Just a gorgeous home. We even had snow flurries Friday night! We are planning to return.

Wowza! This place is absolutely gorgeous with any amenity you could want or think of. Communication with the host was superb and I don't think there's a more heavenly spot in the area. Perfect for a girls getaway, a guy's getaway, a family getaway - ANY getaway. Thank you for making us feel like we were at home in your gorgeous home! Our group of 7 couples had a wonderful weekend at S'mores Sunrise Lodge in Broken Bow, OK. (November 2022) The house is beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped. The hosts are easy to work with and responsive. The house is fabulously decorated, has comfy beds, has amazing, huge decks on 2 floors overlooking the gorgeous scenery. Nice hikes nearby. Highly recommend!

The views are exceptional and the house is beautifully designed. We loved that the kitchen had a pantry, big island and a second fridge/freezer in the downstairs laundry room. Having a second laundry room upstairs was really helpful. The kids had an amazing time playing outside in the playhouse and on the swings. We spent a ton of time outside next to the fireplace. The beds are comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. We’ll be back!

Our Bible study group booked this home for Sukkot. We had several families of all age ranges. The house was perfect! It had some thing for everyone, and even with our large group we never felt like we were on top of one another. You can tell that Shannon thought through the user experience when she designed this home. Everything is so well planned and stocked. Everyone had a great time and commented frequently on the location, home, comforts, etc. They all asked if we could come back next year!

This cabin is a DREAM! The pictures do not do justice! It’s a whole experience for sure that you have to be there to believe it. It accommodates a large group so well. My friends and I were able to enjoy our time inside, outside on the decks, or the fire pit. It has comfortable beds, very nice sitting area and kitchen, and bedrooms were very large! My friends were obsessed with the bunk rooms and how spacious they were. I’m a nature guys so the outside was my favorite part! Has incredible views and the decks are so well built and furnished to enjoy a great time outside. If you love to see the Sunrise, this is the best place to do it!!! Best cabin I stayed at in Broken Bow! The hosts are incredibly nice and always at your service at any time. They respond so quick! I wanna thank them for such an incredible experience! Literally nothing to complain about!

You can see the earth dam and a small portion of the lake from the enormous back decks. You can also hear the river below the property that begins at the spillway. It is a magnificent property, and the owners want to ensure your time there is carefree.

It was great it allowed all of us to have our own beds that way no one had to sleep on the floor. We didn't have to all go fishing during the day we could play pool, cornhole and other games in the game room. The host were amazing as we got there a little early and they allowed us to check in just a bit sooner which worked out great. Again there was plenty of space for everyone and enough room for everyone which is hard to fine for trips like this.

If you are looking for a spacious house with breathtaking views this is the place for you! We had 10 adults and 16 children and all fit comfortably. The attention to every detail was very impressive inside and out of the property. The kitchen cabinets were fully stocked with any and everything you would need to cook and serve the food. Every inch of the house is decorated beautifully and very comfortable. The kids had a blast with the playground, swings, outside games, hot tub, air hockey, wiffleball, and making Smores around the fire pit at night. The adults enjoyed the outside fireplace, pool table, Golden Tee game, and hanging out it the huge open living room and kitchen. Shannon the owner was fast to respond to any questions we had and gave recommendations of fun things to do around the area. Before we left we were already talking about our trip back for next year!

From the drive up to the cabin to the walk into the front doors to the entire view in the back absolutely amazing and a very good finish out. The detail was absolutely perfect.
