Have stayed in Keswick many times and this has been by far the best accommodation. Very comfortable and warm. Will return as soon as possible.

First things first, we love Keswick, we've been wanting to spend Christmas there for a good while. Obviously Christmas is peak season but we really liked the look of Maiden Moor. To be honest, it was the electric reclining sofa and armchair that had me sold. The flat is immaculate, we had the bonus od it being decorated for Christmas. The kitchen is well equipped, you're 60 seconds from the door of Booths supermarket and its fabulous cheese counter. Parking for 2 cars is a bonus, not that you need one while you're there. Stop reading now and book 8t if you can. Other members of my family have already booked for 2024.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Maiden Moor and it won't be the last. It really is a lovely apartment in a quiet, yet convenient position close to the centre of Keswick and a lovely touch was that the apartment was decorated for Christmas. We were able to get out on walks every day without the need to use the car which stayed parked at the apartment all week.

This apartment is in an excellent position - it's close to the centre, very close to a great supermarket (Booths), it has 2 parking spaces but is also very close to where all the buses go from Keswick to the rest of the Lakes. We had no problem with cars/buses or noise from the supermarket. The apartment is very nicely kept and quite luxurious accommodation for the Lake District. Only two niggles - we stayed here 2 years ago and then neither the shaver socket in the ensuite bathroom nor the towel rail in the other bathroom were wired up. We put this down to the apartment being newly built/refurbished, but two years later it's still the same - would be nice to get these things finished.

This cottage had everything I needed, very comfortable and centrally located in Keswick with 2 free allocated parking spaces.

A lovely cosy apartment. It is very close to the shops and not too far from the lake. The beds and pillows were really comfortable and the apartment had a lot of little extras, a discount for the Theatre by the Lake which we used. I liked the key safe too as I did not have to fight with it to put the key back in at the end of our stay. Would stay here again.

Great location, perfect for town and the countryside. The flat is well equipped and has everything you could need on your holiday the beds are very comfortable. The parking is a great bonus. This was our first visit to Maiden Moor but it will not be be our last.

Such a well equipped and thoughtfully furnished apartment. An ideal location, both central and peaceful. The top parking spaces were a bonus.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Maiden Moor despite some very wet weather. The quality of furniture, fittings and accessories was very good. The location is excellent and having off street parking is a great asset. We had an issue with keys which Keswick Cottages sorted out quickly so I was pleased with their service. I would use Keswick Cottages again and would stay at Maiden Moor again.

This is the second time this year that we have stayed in Maiden Moor and plan to return here next year.

Beautiful property ,close to all amenities in Keswick but in a quiet location . We holiday in Keswick every year and best self catering place so far .

This accomodation was outstanding. It provided everything we could ask for including two parking spaces.

We visited Maiden Moor as 2 couples, myself and husband and sister and her husband. We have visited Keswick many times but this was our first stay at this apartment. What an absolute joy to have found this stunning place, right on the edge of town, with 2 parking spaces ( we travel separately to meet up so this was a god send ) the apartment was fabulous, warm with the lights on when we arrived and beautifully decorated for Christmas. There was literally nothing that hadn’t been thought of, the kitchen was very well equipped, although we either ate out or had takeaway but you could have easily prepared a full meal. The beds were amazingly comfortable and both bathrooms light, airy and plenty of hot water. We did lots of walks, Keswick to Threlkeld is a lovely easy walk suitable for families, we also tried to walk the circular of Derwentwater but only got halfway round due to flooding!! And New Year’s Day we climbed Latrigg which had fabulous views although the weather wasn’t brilliant… we ate at Thyme restaurant which was very good and spent New Year’s Eve in Casa Bella again very good. We can recommend Lakeland spice for a takeaway and the fish and chip shops were very good too!! Although the apartment is very close to everything in town ( we never took the cars out) it’s very peaceful with the added bonus of Booths just across the car park. I would recommend Maiden Moor in a heartbeat and hope to return. Also thank you to the owners for the wonderful welcome pack and card .

What a fantastic apartment in a quiet and very convenient location near the centre of Keswick. Well laid out with 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, everything in this apartment gave a feeling of 'luxury'. I'm a regular visitor to the Lake District and Keswick in particular and this is probably the best accommodation I've ever stayed in. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd score it 11.

Maiden Moor suited our needs perfectly. We have rented numerous Lakes properties in the future Maiden Moor will be our first choice in Keswick. For a winter break it was warm, comfortable and centrally located. Decor was tasteful and the Xmas decorations just topped it off. Excellent quality equipment provided and the two parking spaces priceless on a busy weekend. We will be returning next year.

The cleanest, warmest & most comfortable holiday property we have stayed at. Highest quality beds, pillows & lounge furniture, (recliner furniture in the lounge an absolute bonus!), great bathrooms and very well equipped kitchen. Perfectly located & excellent private parking. Keswick Cottages an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Our first time visit to Maiden Moor through Keswick Cottages and this did not disappoint. A warm welcome feeling as we entered the property with heat and lighting on. Lovely modern furniture and spotlessly clean. The shower rooms were amazing, bright and airy with Cole and Lewis toiletries, and a lovely clean kitchen with a supply of goodies to welcome the weary traveller. All in all a property for us that was just perfect in every way , and after visiting the Lake District for the last 17 years, this was by far the best rental property we have stayed in.

Very enjoyable stay. Everything we needed. Very well equipped kitchen. Blackout curtains and blinds in the bedroom would have been preferred. Excellent cleanliness, just a couple of cobwebs. Excellent location. I do not usually like to make recommendations, but I certainly would on this occasion.

We had a lovely stay at Maiden Moor very clean and well equipped ideally located to the town centre and having its own parking spaces was a massive plus.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in Maiden Moor and as a family of 4 adults and this year with our new grandson. The location is excellent and the bonus of 2 car parking spaces makes the cottage even more appealing with it being in a central, but quiet part of Keswick The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and within easy walking distance of all of Keswick. We had a good stay at Maiden Moor. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything you would need for a holiday. The location is great, 2 parking spaces ,central for shops, restaurants which are just around the corner and you can catch a bus across the road to nearly anywhere in the lakes enableing you to leave your car ( which we did for the whole week.) SO a very nice stay. Keswick Cottages is a great company to deal with

Our third stay at Maiden Moor apartment. Very clean and comfortable, small space but perfect for a couple.

This was our first time staying in a cottage (booked through Keswick Cottages who provided an excellent service) and we couldn't have chosen better. It was in a quiet location, a 2 minute walk from the town centre. The cottage was decorated, furnished and maintained to a high standard with a very well equipped kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space in the bedrooms. Both bathrooms are a good size too. For keen walkers there are muddy boot trays provided - a bonus as it rained every day during our holiday. Hopefully it won't be too long before we will be back.

Maiden Moor was the perfect base for us. Apartment is very well equipped and cleaned to a high standard. We couldn't believe how close we were to the centre but it was so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be booking again in the future. It definitely felt like a home from home. Recommended highly 5 stars.
