I needed a wheelchair accessible room. I travel for work and take my mom with me because I am her caretaker. The first room we stayed in had a door problems. They moved us to a new room. The doors aren't set up for wheelchairs. They make it very difficult to get in and out. The bed's mattress kept moving around on the bed. The AC didn't keep up with the room temperature. I set it on 69 and it got so hot at night. The front desk never answers our calls from the room. We had to call from our cells phones to the front desk. The restaurant isn't open for lunch. The bathroom was barely big enough for her wheelchair. The elevator didn't stay open long enough for my moms chair to make it before it closed. She missed the ride 2 times every time she used it (unless the other guests helped her)
Pro: The shower was very easy for my mom to get in and out. It was a quiet in the halls at night. The menu for room service was pretty good. The cleaning staff was very attentive.
I have paid less for better handicapped accessible facilities. I would be open to consult if the manager does want to hear about how to improve the hotel for disabled travelers.

I ice machine was broken on level 8 and 9 so I had to go to the ice machine e on the 10th floor….and no mini fridge so we had to fill the ice bucket and put our waters in that to keep them cold. It was very inconvenient

Unacceptable for a Hilton standards.
Reserved an Executive King Size Bed room. After a long drive, went straight to the bathroom.
There were personal hairs everywhere. The toilet seat, the back of the toilet, the floor and the tub.
I received a text asking how my check-in went. I replied back with the above. Silence.
24 hrs later, I received another text asking how my stay was going. I replied with the above. 45 minutes later someone came by to service the bathroom. The cleaning staff never said a word. In and out. Management never spoke to me afterwards.
Checked out next morning.
Everything else about this place was terrific. But not inspecting the cleanliness of the room before customers walk in is unacceptable. This is a Hilton associated facility. The standards should be higher.

It was a good time went to club 337 and got a room the first room was not clean so they had to put us in another room but after that it was good

We booked a river view room and got a parking lot view. I asked about the price difference but the hotel said there is no price difference but on Hotels.com the parking lot view is about $20 cheaper. I paid the higher price but the hotel doesn’t feel I’m entitled a refund for the difference.
*they did call and ask if I was ok with a parking lot view, and if I was, to call them back. I wasn’t ok with it so I didn’t call them back which is what I assumed they meant for me to do yet I was still told I would not get a refund because they claim all rooms in this hotel are the same price (they need to change that on hotels.com then)

Overall, a solid hotel experience. Only two comments I have for consideration are:
With multi night stays, need to at least advise customer that housekeeping will not be coming to the room to make up room, replace used towels, etc.
Also, while our bathroom was not in an unclean state, there were splashes of something on the back of our bathroom door, and there was no conditioner in the multi-use containers in the shower.
Wish the hotel bar was open past 10pm, too, considering there was an event in the event space next to it.

The toilet had mildew stains on the side. The window had lil black ants crawling back & forth. The Shower didn’t look like they been really scrubbing the walls at all. The floors are not vacuumed good enough. The level of cleanliness is not that great. However, the bed sleeps GREAT as always. Also, everytime I stay here housekeeping come knocking on the door on check out day. If there is a DND sign on the door let me REST! Check out is at 12pm.

I always stay in this hotel because it is one of the bests in LFayette. People at teh front desk and in the lobby are all helpfull. Teh only issue is this hotel has not been renewing itself for 7 years now. It gets older and older every time I stay there. It shoudl have been in a better rcondition. However, with that being said, I will stay there again.

This is my go to hotel in Lafayette. It is conveniently located, consistent service, and the rooms are a nice size. I have always had a great night’s sleep here during my stay.

The reservation was for a business partner when he arrived the room was not wasn’t ready the Personal nobody spoke Spanish. And they made a charge for the complete stay on the first night normally at the reception they must take only the deposit and then at the type of checkout they should make the charge

When we arrived for check in. It was 4:00. That is check in time. The room was not ready. The lobby was full of people waiting for rooms. We were asked to wait. It was one hour later before we finally got our room. We had traveled all day and couldn’t get our room because they had only one lady cleaning the entire floor. Poor management there. In the middle of the night I wanted a drink of water…no bottled water I. The room. I walked down to the vending machines. It would not take cash. I would not take my card. I had to go to the lobby. There I met another incompetent employee who could not figure out how to do a card sale and give a receipt. That took 15 minutes by itself. Then the price I was charged was 4 dollars a bottle. That is thievery. After that , there was no rest. I also was charged a deposit!!! What the hell? I have spent tens of thousands of dollars in 48 states on hotels…I have NEVER been charged a deposit. I was extremely disappointed in my stay an I will never stay at any Hilton owned hotel ever again.

When we drove into the parking lot, the police arrived to question some loitering men smoking outside the main entrance and another man walking about the vicinity. This Doubletree is older and bathrooms show the age w/ caulk mold and water damaged wood near the tub. Still, the staff we came in contact with, particularly the young woman cleaning our floor as we departed, was helpful and friendly.
