It is past its commercial value as a hotel. No hot water, screens ripped out on sliding door, almost no service help, etc. More like a hostel then a hotel. A lot of live in long term guest.

The property had no generator. We lost power after first few hours. We left and went to a different hotel. Didn't even sleep thete.

Disgusting conditions. Unfriendly staff. No bathroom for your rooms. No electric half the time and horribly hot and stuffy rooms. Worse vacation ever been too.

This property is a favorite of ours after a week of sailing. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are basic but the a/c is cool and the pool and view are amazing. Close to town and everything is walkable. If you are looking for luxury this property this is probably not for you but if you want to live like a local this property is for you

Beautiful surroundings. However I booked it because it included a restaurant and bar, which it has neither. It says coffee and tea provided, but it was provided only at breakfast. Full breakfast consisted of granola bars and fruit cups. And prepare to walk up lots of steps and a very steep hill to go find food.

We stayed at The Galleon one night after our CAT trip. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed swimming in the pool. The view from our room was outstanding. Each employee we met was very helpful and kind. location is close to shopping and numerous restaurants. If ever in the area again, we would stay here.

I loved my stay here - Harry and Sonya were so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. For the great affordable price, I think it was perfect! The rooms were comfortable, clean and breakfast was filling (I usually had fruit and a cream cheese bagel every morning). It was easy to get from place to place from the location too. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend.

Decent budget accommodations in the center of Charlotte Amalie reachable with a bit of a climb. Breakfast was offered on the pleasant, covered porch, which was very nice as there are no proximate restaurants.

Unique property with rooms that have both shared & private bathrooms. Great location if you just need 1-2 nights on St. Thomas when arriving or departing airport but your main stay is on St. John. Lovely, clean pool. Friendly staff. Historical center of city, lovely views.
Note: many stairs up to property, so may not be good if you have lots of bags and few hands to carry.

Good for budget traveler with amazing views , but if you got the extra funds I would stay somewhere else very nice and helpful owner however. The lady at the front desk refused to help me get rid of the unusually high amount of mosquitos in my room or didn’t offer to relocate me to a different room. Even though there were times were other guests similar to the same room I had checked out they gave the other rooms to new people instead of trying to help me fix my problem. No joke at least 20 mosquitos were killed in my room during my 4 day stay.

The staff couldn’t be better. One of the people in our party left her passport on the plane. She was frantic. Lakisha ( spelling?). called the airport for us and against the odds it was found, then Harry, the manager, drove my friend back to the airport to get it. They were all awesome and we will be back. Thanks!

We had a great stay! Yes there are a lot of stairs, but it’s a beautiful walk with tons of beautiful flowers and plants and lizards. The room was spacious and clean. The AC worked well. The view from the balcony was incredible. We had a gorgeous view of the sun setting over the bay and town. I would absolutely stay here again!
