Great hotel that’s near BDL airport.

Very convenient hotel near the airport. We always book here when our flight leaves early. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are updated. It has a lounge/restaurants on the premises as well as others to choose from near by.

Everything was great. No issues at all with this 3 night stay. Wish there was a fridge in the room but other than that. I’d stay again here !

Pros - Location was convenient for a work event I was attending. Hotel and room were clean. Staff were friendly. Cons - All of the outlets in my room were loose, so that my phone charger had to be positioned/held at just the right angle to stay connected. The noise of people speaking even at a normal volume in the hallway felt like they were right next to me in bed b/c the lack of any sound barrier/insulation. There were cars drag racing off and on on the main road a couple blocks from the hotel until after 1am (on a Wednesday night). Not the hotel's fault obviously, but I definitely recommend bringing earplugs. The free breakfast was decent if you're okay with the toast, bagels, cereal, yogurts, etc. The eggs and folded egg/cheese omelettes were rubbery weird texture and tasteless. I couldn't eat them.

From looking at the outside I was a little afraid that I made a reservation at this location. Once I went inside I was blown away! Will be my go to whenever I'm back in CT.

Updated and clean and the staff was pleasant and helpfully. Especially Cliff in the dining room. Great breakfast. Kids enjoyed the pool.

The amenities for the Doubletree Brand were lacking. No microwave or mini fridge in room, and the room was not very clean (hair in the sink).

Hotel needs maintenance

The property is very nice but when my boyfriend & I checked in the lady was rude & was acting as If we were bothering her.

Great easy access to the airport.

I went on a weekend gateway with my Sister and my Niece to Six Flag, we rented 5 rooms One of the things I notice first upon my arrival was that my request to have connected rooms was not granted, that was inconvenience because we were traveling with teenagers! However was one night, we survived. But another negative point was that my room seems not to be prepared or clean. Was missing the refrigerator and microwave, was missing towels and the AC was not working properly. But like I said we survived

Great experience

Easy check in and they give you delicious complimentary cookies at check in. Nice staff, clean room and pool. Only 30 minutes from the amusement/park if you want something to do.

The bar next door was not inviting at all me and my wife waited 25 minutes no service the sign said wait to be seated but no one came to assist us. So we left to eat something else down the road

The staff was amazing at trying to coordinate trying to get there after our flughtvwas delayed. They were attentive and helpful. Book the doubletree for the staff, the cookies and the quality of the rooms.

Reception area air conditioning wasn't working

For the most part it was a nice stay. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The bar was very nice. The buffet was good. The only complaint I have is there wasn’t enough towels to dry off from the shower. We had only 2 towels with 3 people in the room. The floor also didn’t seem clean. Other than that we had a great stay. Would definitely stay again.

Dirty unkept hotel

First off, the driver who picked me up from the airport was awesome. Personable and kind. However, the room smelled like mold and the room cleaners knocked and opened my hotel room door three times between 7am-8:30am. This woke me up on a Sunday morning when i was in dire need of catching up on sleep.

The only part is I was supposed to have breakfast voucher and did not receive. Did not make an issue as had to meet family for brunch

Booked a king room, but was given a double.

Was happy at check-in that they accommodated my request for a feather free room and happy with the cookies! Very unhappy with the hard lumpy bed. Bathroom so tiny that the door can't open all the way as it hits the toilet about half way open.

We loved the hotel, our room was nice and spacious, but the shower and toilet were not draining. The parking lot was also under construction, so that was inconvenient.
