The place was very clean. Our room was wonderful and the beds were so comfortable it wasn’t even funny. I fell asleep as soon as I laid down. Staff was incredible and so nice. I loved it here. Thank you!

Very average but clean

I stayed at the Sonesta Hotel in Auburn Hills for a business trip, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was given a room that clearly had not been cleaned—there was hair all over the bed, which was unsettling. After reporting this, I was moved to a second room. However, the issues didn’t stop there. The door to the new room wouldn’t lock properly, meaning I had to frequently call or go down to the front desk to have it manually locked—a significant safety concern, especially considering I had valuable items with me. To make matters worse, the second room was not up to standard either, with cat hair found on the bed and other surfaces. Overall, I felt uncomfortable and unsafe throughout my stay. This experience was not what I expected, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially business travelers looking for a reliable and secure place to stay.

We stayed one nite. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the lady at the desk fulfilled my request to be moved to a location that would reduce the noise from the freeway. Overall, I rate them a 10 and would stay again.

The pictures are way better than the actual property. Outdated rooms and location is odd. Honestly looks sketchy from the outside. Our sheets were not clean and flipped inside out, which was concerning. The people in room 166 should be fined for noise pollution. They literally let kids scream in the halls at 6:00 a.m. We will not be returning customers.

Booked for 3 n In room i found 2 towels only and there's no bedding for my son, no water bottle in a room.I paid for a continental breakfast with my booking on expedia but get only bagel yogurt n juice in breakfast.

It was fine. Bed was comfortable, ac cold. Wasn’t there long enough to say much else. Staff was friendly.

The original posting did not mention a pet fee so we were slapped with an additional $75. fee and also did not mention a parking fee which was another surprise. I asked for a 1st floor room because my husband is disabled and they put us on the third floor about the farthest from the lobby as you can get. Needless to say we won't stay here again.

Outdoor areas including parking lot is not cleaned for days. Ashtrays are not emptied.

Usually when a hotel is affordable it isn’t comfortable. This hotel changed my thoughts on that. Upon entry the hotel lobby smells AMAZING! The lobby was also very clean and I was greeted by staff quickly. My children enjoyed the pool and our room was bug, stain, and hair free! The only two things I had a slight issue with was loud AC and the dusty fridge. The door that housed the fridge also had greasy fingerprints on it from the last visitor. Overall I would recommend this place and stay again.
