Incredible staff and great breakfast!! Had dinner at the steakhouse and I suggest you do the same👍. I have stayed at the Riviera multiple times in the past and I’ll will continue to stay on future visits to Taiwan!!

Our stay at the Riviera Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff were not only incredibly nice but also very friendly, making it a great choice for families with kids. The rooms were spacious and clean, providing a comfortable environment for our stay. The included breakfast was convenient with a good variety of options to suit everyone's taste.
The hotel's location is another big plus—it's within a 10-minute walk to the nearest MRT station, making public transit easily accessible. Calling taxis or Ubers was also a breeze, and the surrounding neighborhood is very walkable with convenient access to Family Mart, 7-Eleven, and other eateries. Additionally, the hotel is centrally located, making it easy to reach major attractions like the famous Night Market and Taipei 101.
We highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, convenient location, and family friendly atmosphere.

Overall our experience at the hotel was great.
The breakfast buffet was fantastic! We had dinner at the Mediterranean Steak House restaurant - which was very good, as well as dinner at the Oeillet Pastry Café - which was very good as well.
The room was spacious and clean. Each floor had a nice common area. The rooftop with the garden and workout room was nice and unique.
All of the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The location was close to a train station and there were coffee shops, convenience stores, grocery, general stores, a small night market, and restaurants very close as well.
I have no complaints and would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend the hotel to anyone looking to stay in that area.

Hotel is traditional w the usual ameneties—-gym, restaurant, cafe, biz center. The decor does remind me of hotels on the cotes de sur. Breakfast Restaurant gets busy on the weekend

Every potential need is anticipated -- slippers, toothbrush, bathrobe, bottled water, a mini-fridge--even a yoga mat for exercise. Great breakfast--whether you want an English , a Danish, a Japanese, or an American breakfast, you can take your pick or mix and match. The front desk staff are exceedingly helpful on arranging for taxis and giving suggestions on good places to visit. The area is safe to walk at all hours. Very comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was lovely and beds were very comfortable. The best part was the reception and lobby staff. They were so kind and helpful. We used their complimentary shuttle service both days. Their morning buffet provided a big variety of food and it was all delicious. We felt we were in a good location. Close to a night market. We’d definitely stay here again.

On that note my only real criticism (aside from the gym - but in all fairness I've yet to stay at a hotel that has one that's even remotely functional) is that the rooms could use some modernizing such as swipe card access etc. Very minor really and overall a great place to stay.

Rooms were ok. Overall clean. Staff service was not fantastic. Upon checking in at around midnight, I told them I would make total payment and gave them my debit card. Instead they only held the total sum plus deposit through my debit card. If I had known that they only intended to hold the sum, I would not have given them the debit card as that was a deduction from my account. Upon checking out, they asked for full payment again. As it is, I am concerned that if they do not cancel my first payment plus deposit, i would have been charged twice. Bfast was lack of choice too.

Rooms are clean, odourless, bright, quiet and most importantly comfortable. Wifi connection was also fast. I would have given them full score if breakfast was included in their hotel rate.
