It was good..have stayed there before

Check in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly. Our room was spacious and clean and had a very nice view. We love the closeness to town and Lake Huron along with a pleasant walk to the Mackinac Bridge. We always look forward to staying at Crown Choice Inn & Suites. Thank you for having an awesome staff!

I checked all the boxes on your site but received none of them. You try getting a 96 year old woman in that bathroom or on that toilet.

Hotel was decent but definitely needs some TLC. Sauna did not work. Spa smelled pretty bad and was not working one of the days. Pool was not kept up. Friendly staff.

It was a nice stay. The room could use some updates, but was clean and quite comfortable. The front desk person was exceptionally friendly! Will stay here again next year, it's much better than other properties in Mackinaw City, and quite reasonably priced for the accommodations.

The convenience in relation to the ferry was great! The water park was not over-crowded. The beds were firm and not comfortable but definitely not a deal breaker.

We were in a suite and needed the pull out sofa, they didn’t have any pillows at all to offer us. The towels smelled bad, there was mold on the floor of the “waterpark”, and the ice machine was out of order.

Horrible stay very old I maintained hotel very bad condition of room and facilities. On the booking time shows different suites and give us terrible rooms.

This building is VERY run down. The drapes were falling off the valances. The windows were grossly dirty. There was garbage in the hallway outside the room next to ours for our entire stay. Absolutely no security. Doors were propped open.

10. The maintanance guy was showing me the rooms and I ask him to wait unitil I make a decision. He just left and not even said me anything. I have never seen him again for the next 3 days.

Check in was great. The room was better than what we booked. However, in the main entry of the room, there was something red splattered on the wall. In the bathroom, there was dog food behind the door, a blue powder substance on the floor by the sink along with a dirty Q-tip. The bedroom area was great. The entry door to get into the hotel were left open till at least 10pm. Thats when we returned to our room. When leaving the following morning, we spotted at bat in the hallway

Do not waste your time here…the rooms are filthy…the carpet is so dirty it was sticky there were bugs on the walls the doors were broken and had no locks to keep the door closed. We had a disabled child with us and he could have easily fallen off the balcony as the sliding door wouldn’t stay closed. The front desk was rude the WHOLE place smelled like mold and there was no smoking anywhere but you could sure smoke marajuana everywhere. It was NOT on the lake beach and when other guests tell you to not pay and just leave and go find a cleaner place it’s not a good sign. It is an old decrepit dump.

This hotel facility is very dirty. There is no deluxe gym or breakfast area. There is nothing deluxe. The water park was filthy and had green algae all over. The property was dusty. Do not stay here.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. They gave me a key to a room that was occupied and didn’t have any remorse and wouldn’t refund my money. Travelers beware I will never send my worse enemy to this hotel.

Spacious and comfortable. Could use updating, such as new carriers and cabinet doors in kitchenette, but overall clean and comfortable. Great amenities like pool, water park, and beach access. Staff are incredible-friendly and helpful to make sure our stay was amazing.

People were in the pool till well after 1am. They were loud and cursing. We were unable to fall asleep so we went for a walk. When we got back, our key didn’t work and we were locked out of our room. Went to the front desk- there was a handwritten sign that said “we are open, go next door to bayside”. We did. There was no one there either. A sign read “call (231) 436-7829“. I did. 3 times. No answer. No answering machine either. .

Our room was dirty, filthy better said. Mold on the outside wall. Room smelled like mold/mildew. Carpet was nasty. The bathroom cabinets were so dusty and we found silver fish bugs in a drawer on the way out. Some towels smelled. I don’t know if all rooms are like this but I don’t recommend this hotel. The bed sheets seemed clean and we had checked in late and found this one last minute or we would have left. I’ve never stayed at a hotel and felt this disgusted. Needs better maintenance and upkeep. Service at the front desk was good.

The suite was spacious and clean. We had a screened in porch and chairs off of our bedroom. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The waterpark was great for kids. It’s right across from Lake Huron’s beach

Place was run down and not like the pictures. It was old, dingy, musty and not well kept. I saw more out of order signs than I could count. This is the first negative review that I have ever bothered to leave (although I should have one time when another property gave my room away that I pre-paid for and did not do anything about it). Reservation was for 2 Queen beds, they were not Queen. Reservation was for 4 guests and bathroom was equipped with 3 towels. I was less than satisfied. Desk Staff were friendly though

The pictures posted online always make things look better, of course, but I did have higher expectations. The room was outdated and dingy. It kind of smelled like pee. The bathroom walls had mold and the fan didn’t work. They didn’t give enough bath towels for our family. The indoor pool and waterpark was not well cleaned and your eyes burned from the chlorine in the air. However, the front desk service people were very nice!

The hotel was clean but In need of updates/repair. A house keeper never came. I had to empty my own trash. We asked the front desk for new towels and the receptionist gave my aunt unnecessary attitude. Our door you had to put your whole body weight into.
The only good was My kids enjoys the water park and it was clean on arrival.
Seagulls got into the trash and nobody ever picked it up. There is really room to grow at this property in regard to hospitality and service.

Excellent location and has a water park for kids and pool/hot tub as well. Staff was very friendly.
Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Some parts of the room are a bit outdated. We had a small patio looking at the lake. Walking distance to boat ferry and local restaurants.
I would definitely recommend staying there again.

The front desk staff was great! She gave us an upgraded room amd was very pleasant to work with. When we got to our room, we noticed our bedding was a little moist. The shower curtain and bathroom ceiling had mold on it. The room also had a damp, musty smell to it.

We requested twice to take trash out and clean . Two times they didn’t come.
The manager when I made a complaint was rude and disrespectful. His name was Sergio, he was hard to communicate with explain to him everything, including proven to him that we called and talked to the front desk person twice about having someone come in and cleaning the trash and towels, and he still argued that there’s nothing that he can do

There was no housekeeping unless you request it. Even then we had none the day after we did request it. The microwave I’m sure has never been cleaned. So much grease and just dirty. Bathroom fan didn’t work so with 6 people the mirror was always steamy and bathroom always felt wet. We 3 times had to request towels because no housekeeping. We will not stay there again
However, with all that the person at check in was very nice and I feel there just wasn’t enough employees to do all the work and clean all the rooms.
