Wonderful historic property that was difficult to find by car, but great once we got settled. Staff were all very helpful, especially the young front desk lady upon arrival and your Croatian waiter.ways access to all of Stockholm by public transportation.

Excellent setting on a lake. 10-minute walk to Metro and then 3 stops (10 minutes) to center of city. Very helpful staff.

The location in front of the lake and park. When the windows were open you could hear a little bit the cars passing on the highway... but not too loud.

Such a gorgeous location and grounds! My room had a loft which was wonderful and felt like home. The grounds had flowering trees and bushes and was idyllic. The staff were super helpful, and the dining was a beautiful space with delicious food. I'm so glad we stayed there! It's a little bit of a drive from downtown, but worth the trip!

Very lovely hotel on the Park. The restaurant was fantastic highlighting Swedish cuisine. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.

Our second stay at Stallmastaregarden and we loved it again. Our room looked out on the beautiful courtyard as requested. Luckily the weather was not too warm because there is not AC in the room and it was stuffy.
We had an anniversary dinner out on the deck overlooking the patio and the food was delicious. However, the waiter was not very friendly. Maybe because we split our dinner and ordered the house wines.
The breakfast buffet was again sensational.
We hope to return soon.

Another relaxing overnight stay. Never disappointed with this hotel. Perfect place to rest and recharge after a hectic days work in central Stockholm. Good food, nice room with shower and bath, great bed, nice breakfast. Must mention the excellent staff who always make me feel so welcome.

I didn't get my room upgrade or the SEK150 food/beverage allowance despite raising this matter at check-in - lovely girl at Reception...maybe she forgot

We recently stayed at the Stallmastaregarden Hotel in Stockholm - once you get to the property - you feel like you're in the country rather than in a major city. While the hotel is not convenient for sightseeing, it is definitely unique and charming. The restaurant is wonderful as is the overall service at the property. My husband stayed at the property almost 20 years ago and had a much larger room. If you plan on staying for more than one night - I would definitely recommend upgrading for a larger room.

The hotel is in a beautiful and convenient location. The building is a historic venue for weddings and family parties. The rooms are beautifully designed.
However, some of the rooms are near a noisy main road, and since we stayed in such a room during a heat wave, and the rooms have no air condition, we had to sleep with open windows and did not sleep very well.
The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant has a beautiful view.
The free parking is a large plus.

It´s a nice traditional hotel directly close to a small lake. The surrounding is quiet with good connection options to the main traffic roads. I was 2 nights there for a business trip and would come again. Close to Karolinska and University. The Restaurant was amazing, very high quality.

Very nice hotel in walking distance to the central parts of Stockholm. Located at the brink of the lake in Haga park, which gives an outstanding view of the park.Friendly and serviceminded staff. They should though take a look at their breakfast, which could be improved.

Beautiful property on a beautiful setting. Less than 10 minutes to downtown by car. The staff are wonderful. The breakfasts are great. I will always stay here

The hotel is beautiful and the room is very comfortable, the breakfast view is amazing, especially if you have the opportunity to sit in the veranda. However, the room was unbearably hot all night and we could not sleep so well, in addition the staff in the morning at breakfast were not welcoming and removed most items from the breakfast buffet 20minutes early.

Really enjoyed my stay here, perfect by the water and so close to Haga Park. To my surprise this was also child friendly, more so than what I expected. Stallmästaregården really delivered. Perfect rooms for two people and with a bath tub was a plus. Great food and very nice service by the tables and especially from the maitre d'. High energy and really cared for their guests. The breakfast was a treat and in the restaurant which is perfect for that, with the rounded sofas and the accompanying tables. I really enjoyed my Walpurgis weekend there with my daughter. We shall return! ;)
