Property located in a good location; about half hour walk into the centre. Located next to a lake with loads of scenic walks in the local area. We weren’t met with much of a welcome when we arrived or asked how our stay was on check out. Customer service should have been warmer. Also an awkward question for two males as to whether our booking was correct as we only had one room. The room was booked for two guests. Breakfast was a nice selection situated in a restaurant overlooking the lake. Some areas of improvement needed to the bathroom; no extraction fan, wobbly toilet seat and shaving mirror needed to be repaired. Also flickering spotlights. Parking is 150 SEK for 24 hours. For the price of £160 for a night; I would have expected a little more.

I booked this primarily because I had a visa appoint at the US embassy, which is less than 5 minutes away by foot - and I was positively surprised. The room was really nice and clean - kept in light, soothing colors. And the bed comfortable - all making it easy to relax and keep my mind off the somewhat stressful ordeal the embassy the next day. The breakfast buffet is really tasty and with a wide selection of tees and food. especially their strawberry jam I found amazing :) I arrived late in the evening around 9pm, but it was super easy to contact the hotel beforehand and no problem to plan for the somewhat late check-in. The staff was really friendly, and I was even allowed to leave my bags at the front desk, during my interview at the embassy

We love this property. We stayed last year and it was important to stay again this year. I tried without success to use the sauna. Each day the hotel was packed with events. I tried to use the sauna on a Saturday night but it wasn't working. Our TV was also uncooperative. Staff was exceeding friendly and always made us feel welcome. We'd certainly stay again.

Nice rooms with great beds, quiet area (in the Royal Djurgarden) , walking distance to Skansen, Gröna Lund, Abba Museum, Vasa Museum and City Center. Bus stop in front of the hotel.

Excellent experience on the whole. Staff were all wonderful. Hotel is located in a very nice place. Restaurant was wonderful. Especially Moa from the reception and Jasmine from the restaurant, were excellent. Thanks for making it a memorable time in Stockholm.

Beautiful surroundings within easy walking distance of central Stockholm. Clean room with l’occitane toiletries. We had a standard double room this time and the bed was comfortable but on the small side, as was the size of the duvet. No safe in the room, or at least we couldn’t find one. Breakfast offers a good selection, but finishes a bit too early at 10am, also on weekends. A few parking spaces are available at SEK150 per 24h, or additional parking (more expensive) is available nearby. We have stayed at Villa Källhagen many times and would go back, but perhaps not to this room category, if staying more than one night.

The Villa Kalhagen is well situated along a bus line to downtown, on the water, looking at the Island that has the Vasa and Skansen. Indeed, those are both within walking distance. I would say everything went very well... though the initial check-in was slowed by a staff shortage (which was the case at other places we stayed in Scandinavia). The parking is convenient and not too expensive. Breakfast is very good. The dinner we had there was good as well.

My daughter and I are on a return and first time visit to Stockholm. I selected Villa Källhagen because of the open garden all around the facility and because of the location in Stockholm. If you wish to see the Vasa Museum, ABBA, Skansen, this is the right place, everything is close. The staff gets very high marks for their helpfulness and friendliness. The complimentary Breakfast Buffet was absolutely delicious. Our next visit to Stockholm we will most certainly stay at Villa Källhagen.

Great location just fifteen minutes from Djurgården/Rosendal, in a quiet and pretty area by the water. Breakfast and cleanliness spot on, and the possibility to borrow bikes at no cost made the trip in to the city centre more than manageable.

Thanks for the wunderful stay in youre awsome hotle the service was awsome and i got a free toothbrush and haircome the beds was really soft and nice and the wive from my room was butiful and the bathroom was like a dream i gotta have the big shower heads for my furture shower all in all really awsome thanks agien from Anna ps i passes my intarvew :)

A perfect getaway for couples or families! Extremely beautiful premises, awesome customer service, all comforts you might need (over the top room service, private sauna, beautiful patio, lovely restaurant) and great courtyard where to spend time. Right next the to hotel is Djurgården park, where you can find as much outdoor routes as you can might possibly want for a short stay. And all this within walking distance from city center, if you're interested in that.

Great hotel - very close to Östermalm, all the tourist attractions at Djurgården and perfect for morning runs. The rooms are very stylish and comfortable and the restaurant is top notch. Can warmly recommend!

I really enjoyed this stay. The staff is very friendly, helpful and work hard to make your stay pleasant. The location is perfect, just outside the city but only a short walk to Strandvägen. A good bonus that the hotel has bikes for you to borrow. I will be happy to chose this hotel again upon my next travels. This hotel gets a high recommendation from me.

Property was on the water and had great views from the dining area. A short walk into town along the waterway. So much to see.

The hotel is more of a spa/wealthness place, relatively small and with a nice restaurant. The staff (reception and restaurant) was excellent at all times. I had a room/suite at ground level, nice, spacious and with access to a nice back balcony/patio. The room itself was a bit dated but in some minor aspects (night stands, closet, bathtub) but had everything needed was very cozy and comfortable. The bathroom could use a bit more intense cleaning. It was quite difficult to find a plug/outlet, and there were not any at the small desk in the living room. I’d say these are just small tips for improvement, overall the place is inviting, the staff welcoming and I would stay there again if need to do something near that side of town even if it’s a bit away from the main city center.
