The name of the hotel on the Hotels.com website was incorrect and did not differentiate from a hotel that was across the city. So it booked us in error at the wrong hotel. The room was quite dark and difficult to see anything. There was no plug by my side of the bed, so I was unable to plug in my phone to charge. Except in the bathroom. For a hotel of this cost, you would think there would at least be a plug or USB charger beside the bed within reach.

Staff here are incredibly friendly, which was no surprise reading previous reviews prior to booking. Room was quiet and clean, but dark. Limited daylight only bc of the hotels location. A couple of issues with the bathroom, shower curtain was overdue for a wash, sink drained slow and bathtub stopper/plug didn’t work. In walking distance to everything you need. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Our experience was not as good as in other Le Germain hotels in Montreal and Quebec. The hotel needs a renovation. The person who did our check in didn’t even say hello to us and then spent her time with us on her walkie talkie. In addition there is heavy construction work ongoing in the street, with people working well into the night, causing a lot of noise. We would have expected a heads up or at least an apology.

IT WAS A VERY NICE PLACE AND LOCATED TO MANY RESTURANTS AND SHOPPING, HOWEVER, THE MAIN ENTERANCE IS ON A BACK ALLEY AND WAS DIFFICULT TO LOAD AND UNLOAD.

We were able to check in early, which was fantastic, however there was very loud drilling while we were trying to relax in our room. I emailed the concierge asking how long the drilling would continue, but received no reply. We ended up going out 2 hours earlier than planned because the drilling was so disruptive.

Rooms are painted black with black furniture and poor lighting. There is a window however no light comes in due to the building right across from it. So it was basically a pitch black room.
No hot water in the shower; just cold and barely lukewarm.
For the price of the room it’s absolutely overpriced and disappointing. Breakfast not included and super expensive.
Will not go back.

The service was excellent! All the staff we met treated us very well! The restaurant food and service was great also! Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and walkable to all areas we needed to get to. I would absolutely recommend and stay here again.

First time staying at Le Germain and my wife and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful, professional and very polite. Hotel is 5 minute walking distance from the CN tower and 12-15min walking distance from the Scotiabank Arena. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again in the future.

Beautiful, comfortable rooms. Was lovely to be able to have a bath after a long flight in the gorgeous bathroom. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Would definitely book again.

This hotel was phenomenal, from the second the concierge opened the door straight to checkout! We came here for my boyfriend’s birthday and were blown away. We stayed in the King Prestige room and it was huge, the bed was so comfortable and it was spotless as far as cleanliness goes. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch. We ran out of coffee pods and they brought them up right away! The manager at the bar downstairs made my evening as well. We will definitely be coming back here and will recommend it to anyone hoping to stay in the heart of downtown. Thank you again!

Le Germain is modern, clean and fresh. My stay was for five nights attending a conference at the Metro Convention Center, which was about a 10 min walk. Located near the theatres, Roy Thompson Hall and homes of the Blue Jays, Raptors, CN tower and more - this hotel is centrally located for fun. The room included luxury house coats and an umbrella for wet weather. It’s the small things that that give it the “extra”. The rain fall shower was relaxing and the glass wall to the bedroom was super fun. It was quiet, pleasant and relaxing. Two issues - 1) the room was too dark. Lots of accent lights but nothing to illuminate the room. 2) Roman blinds; I like blackout curtains to block out the light. I would stay here again, but bring a blindfold to block the light.

It was a very quaint little hotel. The customer service was great and the hotel staff was very friendly. I was a bit disappointed about the size of the gym but understand that those staying around this area are more interested in entertainment. I wouldnt reccomend this as a place for a staycation as amenities at the hotel are subpar but I would recommend this hotel as a central location to experience most of what downtown Toronto has to offer. Had a great stay nonetheless.

Hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and staff really helpful and friendly. Rooms a little dark but when moved to higher floors little better. However be cause of surrounding buildings no view, which I am sure is the case in most hotels because of all the tall buildings. Within walking distance of a lot of main attractions!
