I booked a Deluxe Room these have a Microwave and a Refrigerator. Needed the refrigerator to keep a medication cold.
The first room #178 was a smoking room and it was disgusting, the smell was absolutely horrible. Apparently that was the only room with a refrigerator…
The 2nd room #133 didn’t have a refrigerator so I used ice to cool my medications.
However this room was supposed to be non smoking but it also smelled of stall smoke and was extremely unpleasant. As we had arrived quite late, 10.30pm I felt it was too late to find other accommodations so we stayed. The room was generally clean but the smell made it unpleasant. The AC/ventilation was noisy and just circulating stall air so I turned it off. The TV remote did not work as well… this was a less than satisfactory stay.
And to add to a worsen situation I was bitten by a dog when leaving the office for the 2nd time. The dog was one two dogs in the office lobby owned by another customer, as I walked by the dog lunged at me and bit my upper leg, thankfully it did not break the skin or cause any significant injury.
This Motel 6 caters to folks with pets and seems to accommodate those who are borderline homeless.
We haven’t stayed at a Motel 6 in many years, our memory was they were clean, comfortable budget motel rooms that catered to travelers, not so now…

I stay here all the time when I’m traveling between Idaho and California and this last time was the best! Friendly staff and very clean! I would definitely recommend it!

I’m a single female with a dog. I’m in Medford for truck driving school. My first week I stayed at the north Medford location, and found it to be absolutely awful, so my expectations were not good for the other side of town. I was very happy to see that the motel 6 on Alba was cleaner and quieter. The staff was great too, keeping me in the back and allowing me to get rest. I was very pleased to have the baseball fields right next to the hotel where I could take my dog for play time after school. Shopping is close by, with big stores and plenty of food. I will be back, and recommend staying there to anyone.

My room was VERY hot when I checked in. I would guess about upper 70’s maybe even 80 degrees. I’m usually comfortable around 68-73 and when I opened the door it was like a sauna and smelled like cigarettes, badly (non-smoking room). It was so late from driving 8 hours I decided to prop a window open and call it a day. It made me nervous for the night because a guy watched me unpack my car at midnight from the balcony of his room and didn’t stop watching me even when I kept giving him this look that I was uncomfortable. So propping the window wasn’t ideal and the fan switch in the room was broken so there wasn’t any other way to make the room more comfortable and smell better.
The guy who checked me in was great and very helpful. I didn’t know where to park my car with the trailer and he made me feel like my car/trailer would be safe where he showed me to park it. So this review is about the room condition not the service.

The room they gave us, smell like a dead rat. When i woke up in the morning, i had headace beacause of the smell….sorry to say but i’m not satisfied. Not like the first time we stayed, its really good. Not this time…..its really poor

It’s a cheap Motel 6, but it’s safe and the staff was friendly.
It’s well lit on the outside but the curtains are blacked out. The parking was plentiful and we felt safe sleeping there.

It was 38° at night, and the heater did not work in the room so they had to give me a small portable heater to stay somewhat warm. Incredibly unacceptable!!!!!

You get what you pay for. I paid more than what it was worth. Spiders in room . Dirty walls and floors, cob webs everywhere. Bathroom fixtures didn't work properly. Drugies and people causing problems. My car got damaged and nothing the property could do. Stay at your own risk..... I will NOT be back.

There is a dairy queen inthe same parking lot. The rooms are clean. There is a park, walking distance. Check in is always fast and easy. I wouldn't feel super safe walking alone at night here, but its a great price and room that's close to work.

There was black mold all over the bathroom, dust and lint chunks falling from the vent of ceiling. At 8:30am the hotel had someone leaf blowing outside the rooms waking up guests. A staff member tried to enter my vehicle and also went into my room when I left briefly to get lunch.

My stay here wasn't as bad as I'd expected. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was actually nice. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the pillows they had.
My only complaint was the area. It was in a pretty run-down part of town and more than once there was some guy singing down in the parking lot. The people in the room next door were pretty loud too, but not too late in the night. Neither of these are faults of the motel, but the area around it is important also.
My actual motel complaint is pretty small. They had a guy with a -very loud- leaf blower going around at 10:30 in the morning...right as I am trying to ease into the day. That was annoying. I am not a fan of noise.
Overall though..5 night stay, well rested and quite pleased. I would definitely stay here again.

Booked none smoking room, gave me a smoking room saying that’s all they had. Room smells horrendous!! Towels are darn near see through, ice machine empty, attendant didn’t seem to care. Over all just horrible. Not worth the money at all.

After a super long drive up California we needed to rest from the drive, I found a super cheap price to stay at this Motel 6 - not worth the dollars I saved - the mattresses were the WORST ever, you’d sink into the center. I feel as though WE should’ve been paid to endure the poorest bed provided. Other motel 6’s aren’t so bad but save yourself the back strain and sleep somewhere else.

There were some very short pet hairs stuck to the bedspread, but no big deal to me. Otherwise, very clean.
I had a room on the ground floor facing the pool, and I felt safe. My vehicle seemed pretty safe from a break in.
Coffee is provided in the lobby, and was surprisingly good.
