Good

It was clean. The staff was really nice and accommodating. Very flexible what i needed. Staff were all friendly. We had the suit, family of 5 and it was more than i expected. Everyday i could hear music downstairs from the outside, but that's South Beach vibes, so i don't mind it. I would stay again. Walking distance to the beach and walgreens. Close to Washington Street and Collins.

Nice location but AC broke down and night person in charge was very rude when asked to fix it. Morning manager was awesome.

The front dest staff was awesome. Whenever I calked down for any reason they respond immediately. I really liked that.

Location and cleanliness

This property is at the end of the strip very quiet at night and definitely good place for you and your spouse. When I booked I was not expecting the rooms to be spacious for me and my man, but to my surprise it was easy access to a lot of restaurants and beach area and also out the way from a night time sleep if you understand my drift. Might I add its directly across from the famous Miami sign. Walgreens, liquor store, pizza spot, chilis, Fat Tuesday all in the area literally a walk around the corner.

Room was not clean at all had to get new sheets and towel right away , hotel does not look clean the pictures are deceiving , the only good thing is the location is perfect

Hidden gem, that needs a little boost. Great location, hot water, cool A/C, fresh linens, clean and 24 hour front desk. Could use some attention to detail in light bulbs being out, and just overall sprucing up. Coffee maker lid was broken - just toss it, and if someone wants one they can ask.

Great spot near the beach. Room was pretty clean. Front desk personnel was very nice and helpful. Would want to stay at a future date.

Pros: Gentleman at front desk (I’m so sorry that I failed to get his name, but he’s from Buenos Aires), was an absolute delight. He upgraded our room, made excellent dining suggestions, and offered beach chairs in addition to the towels they loan out. If not for him, we might have had a very different experience. He was amazing. The Fritz also allowed us to store our luggage behind the desk after checkout for a few hours. It was convenient for last-minute souvenir shopping. The rooftop pool and terrace was wonderful. Location is great for nightlife, dining, shopping & conveniences like Walgreens on the next street. Cons: The Fritz is a little dated and could use a once-over in paint and organizing stored items in the stairwell going onto the roof. There was also a lot of non-utilized space in our large bathroom. The AC unit was a mystery to us. We set it at 69 and woke up the first day sweating because the temperature was 78 in our room. We sort of figured it out, but it was luck. Regardless of the cons, I would have given The Fritz 5 stars if the cleaning staff hadn’t forgotten about us. We stayed 3 nights and did not receive a cleaning, nor towels and sheets. We requested towels, then they were provided. Overall, I would consider staying again when we next go back. I have stayed at 3 other locations in Miami Beach, and this one had the best location and most comfortable bed.

This is the perfect little hotel for a little getaway. We stayed for 1 night in the standard studio. It's a perfect little room, equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, little sofa, small coffee maker, iron and ironing board. It's renovated, so it's nice and clean. The location is prime. It's directly across from the beach and right on the strip on Ocean Dr. There's a Walgreens and CVS within walking distance. Check in was so easy and smooth. They even let us check in early which was so nice. Our room was right by the restaurant, so you can hear the music, but it's Miami and by the time we went to bed everything was closed down. I did wake up to the music the next morning at the restaurant but it was nice piano music. The rooms AC worked amazing (it did drip a tiny bit because of how hot it was outside versus how cold it was in the room, but nothing crazy.) They do give you beach towels (not new or anything but just perfect for the beach). Overall, I would stay here again. The price was good, especially for the location. The view from the pool on top is beautiful and there was hardly anyone up there using it. It's an older hotel, but is quirky and nice and the staff were all super friendly.

No extra was towels for 2 days. The room was extremely hot during the day and if you choose a room looking over the ocean make sure it’s not on the first floor. You can’t see anything from the first floor

Nice place, friendly staff, great location!

We are going to keep this as fact-based only. The hotel room was in a noisy alleyway, the walk up to the room was behind the front desk and there was like curtains hanging didn’t even know there was a room back there. The cause it was with IKEA curtains? And it literally just did not make us feel very comfortable. In addition, the bed was not comfortable. We left after two hours. We really should get our money back.

I personally have stayed in at least 6 hotels on ocean drive trying to see which one is better, and worth for us to make it our come to hotel every visit to Miami, this was the worst one yet. As soon as you come into the hotel is dark and smelly. The room it self was falling apart floor tiles cracked, funny smell to the room, the sink and toilet was slanted making it hard to sit comfortably to use. The vents haven’t been dusted or wiped down in a while. no WiFi, phone or tv at all the entire time. I couldn’t do any work on my laptop unless I used my phones hotspot. They said it was an outage that lasted the entire stay, the next day I checked out and went to the hotel next door! No outages at that hotel. I am very sorry to leave this review, I’m sure the staff are friendly but my stay was far from us feeling like we will be back. Be ware don’t use the luggage cart, they use it to haul garbage!! To the hotel you have a lot of competition on Ocean Drive, it’s time to update do better.
