We just needed a quiet weekend away for my birthday and my daughter recommended this hotel. Was very nice and quiet and was right across the street from the park. Very nice view of the bridge.

Rooms were fine. Small Room, and outdated, but more importantly it was very clean. We were in town just for a short vacation and didnt plan on spending a lot of time at the hotel. It was a place to stay and clean.

Our room was clean, smelled good, and was reasonably comfortable for our one night stay. The location is wonderful as we were able to walk to the shore and watch the sunset under the bridge. We were a little disappointed that we had to store our road bikes inside our SUV overnight because bicycles are not allowed in the rooms. Even more discouraged as we watched our neighbors roll their bikes into their room.

Tv turned on randomly throughout the night, interrupting sleep. Bathroom faucet doesn’t turn off completely if not in exactly the right position. No power outlets beside bed. No where to put suitcases.

Positives: Rooms are clean and quiet, beds are comfortable, lighting is bright, shower is hot with good pressure, check-in was quick and easy. BUT the permeating odor of room “freshener” was way too strong, and the room stayed humid despite the a/c running constantly. If they would replace the stained carpeting, update the bath vanities, and eliminate the fake scents, this place would be more comfortable with a more modern feel.

Nice little motel. Perfect for the one night we stayed, we loved the pool and the outside area. Room was clean and we appreciated the cute little box with kisses left for us on the bed. The staff was very friendly and helped accommodate us in the first floor due to my mom not being able to walk up stairs. Will recommend to family coming to the island and will definitely be back. Cheap and excellent stay.

This is a very simple but nice hotel. It’s clean and near the ferry. And you can get discounted ferry tickets at the front desk! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Plumbing is antiquated - spent quite awhile trying to get the shower mix valve right - was either frigid or nuclear - finally gave up. Again, for that cash, it should be modernized from 30 years ago.

It was clean cute... But built back in the time when people had manners and controlled their children.... Loud is a understatement.. No microwave on site at all, let alone in the room. Every single thing in this town is overpriced and lackluster at best. Best thing was the tiny park across the street it was like our own private beach.

Everything was very good except for the tiny toilet. If you have knee or hip issues, it will be difficult to get up.

This is the worst stay in my life .. 8ft ceiling with just queen beds , nothing else … this is 1880’s motel .. definitely not for families .

It was a veey good stay, comfortable beds and well maintained property and rooms. The check in went well, friendly and helpful. The location across from the park that has a great view of the Mackinaw bridge is a real plus. We overall enjoyed our stay.

We were very impressed with this location. We got to the property after check in times and they accommodated us by keeping a key aside for us. Each person we interacted with was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and it included fridge and tv. Pool onsite was very clean, somehow still very clean after the storm the night before. Will definitely stay again!
