The food was outstanding

Large room, very nice view of the water, friendly and serviceminded personell. A bit small but nice sauna and pool, close to dip into the water outside as well. Very good food at the restaurant. Great for business meetings but also for a family. Only 20 min drive to the AirPort.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Hotel Hanasaari very much. It is a 15 minute scenic walk from the Kouvusaari Metro (once on the Metro, it is only a 10 minute ride to the main Helsinki Railway station). The room had a very comfortable bed, tea and coffee service, picture window with gorgeous water view, and a nice bathtub. Breakfast was very satisfying with good variety. Pool and sauna were also enjoyable. The highlight of this idyllic oasis would be the lovely paths for walking, running and biking (free bike usage from the hotel!). We would be just delighted to return to Hotel Hanasaari (Hanaholmen in Swedish).

Very good and clean room,breakfast should also includes coffee from espresso maschine. Very friendly staff. Restaurant Plats very expensive and low quality,we had an hamburger and it was 25 euro,low quality and potatoes also not good.:((

Beautiful quiet setting

What a gem! I've found my new favourite place to stay in Helsinki. The location is beautiful, on a small peninsula full of forest and nature, while only a 10min bus/bike/car journey from the city centre. The building is an architectural and design masterpiece from the 1970s, with art spread throughout the areas of the hotel. The rooms have been recently renovated masterfully to respect the character and era of the building. Sea views from EVERY room! Staff are friendly without being overbearing. Breakfast is great with focus on sustainable, local foods including healthy options, with a high quality across the board. The sauna, which is on every morning, and pool area are fantastic - I enjoyed them all by myself a couple of times. Again, the spaces are architecturally amazing and just a pleasure to be in. I just loved it here - I will be back!!!

Every part of my stay at Hotel Hanasaari met or exceeded expectations. The location and views were amazing. The food and service at PLATS restaurant were exceptional as well. I would for sure stay at Hotel Hanasaari again!

Hanasaari is a beautiful and quiet hotel! We had a nice view to the sea and forest from our window. The sauna was nice and breakfast quite delicious. The only thing bothering was that in the breakfast the cleaning of dirty plates was very slow or no one seemed to clean the tables outside..

It took about 20 min by foot to the hotel from a nearest metro station, but it worth it! It's very comfortable, quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay there again.

A most impressive hotel in a beautiful location.

Many art works by local artists were displayed inside the building as well as the garden area. I enjoyed them very much. We had meals sitting in the garden, overlooking the beautiful scenery and scalptures.

Friendly and helpful staff, a beautiful setting, free bikes to tour the cycle ways along the coast. Comfortable and spacious room, lots of relaxation areas and great views.

We had a really nice, quiet stay. The room was really clean, beds comfortable, breakfast tasty, and location excellent!

Receptionist Peter was truly marvelous in providing us the service. If it was not for him we would not have enjoyed nice spa and swimming pool there. Absolutely amazing service and professionalism. Will definitely come again to Helsinki, just for this hotel.

Hotel Hanasaari is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Absolutely the best in Finland. The personnel, room, breakfast and restaurant menu were top quality. Recommend to all enjoy all sauna and big pool.

It's always a pleasure visiting Hanasaari. I've been there more then 20 times over the last 3 years. During corona I've of cause not been visiting, and it was really a pleasure coming back.

Fantastic stay. Friendly and ediucated staff especially in the evening in the resturant. nice food and nice wines. took a swim in the pool and visit the Sauna. will defintatley stay hear again.

Great place, love the surrounding and sauna. Room seaview superb. Sound proofing wasn't good enough for me and though the breakfast was good, I expect more.

Love this location, wonderful view of the sea and a clean and comfortable room. The stay was relaxing, went to swim in the pool and had sauna, love the option to dip in the sea.

Nice place to spend a summer night. An additional recommendation on the breakfast, using best ingredients. We were there on a hot day and the air-conditioning in the room was very comfortable. The only small problem was that we would have preferred a slightly higher room temp for the night but didnt manage to adjust it. But we slept well nevertheless.
