This quaint, recently updated hotel offers spacious-sized rooms with generous bathroom/shower area as well as a peninsula counter under which is a microwave and mini-fridge. There are unique snacks and water in the room for sale at very reasonable cost. The bed, bedding and pillows are very good quality. There are actual windows that open for the fresh Ojai air, or remote-controlled, new and silent mini-split air conditioning.The entirety of the property is warm, inviting, and very clean. The pool area provides nice lounging options surrounded by giant shading trees. There are several seating areas around the property to relax, read, or drink the free coffee and tea offered in the morning. Located just past the town on the main drag, its an easy 5-10 minute walk to all the restaurants, bars and shops. The Hummingbird also provides nice, new bikes for patron use. I wish I could've stayed longer, but I'll definitely return!

It was quaint, but a bit sparse and old-fashioned in room decor.

Was clean but could have been a bit better. The floors and the bathtub did not seem to have been cleaned. I’ll stay here again. Just know that I’ll have to where shoes and rinse the tub well.

This was my second time here but have stayed many times at properties under the same ownership. They all run similarly. Love the simplicity yet warmth of this property. The staff is helpful and so friendly, pool is great. Floats, good music, byo snacks. Already planning my next trip.
