The location was good, close to town.
It was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at.
I'm hoping I don't get bed bug's.

Staff was great and helpful
For what you pay, it is ridiculous of what you get.

The vibe of the hotel was cool and had great potential. The room was comfortable
I didn’t like that the pool area was very dirty with trash, the bathroom was gross, and the breakfast included was hardly breakfast. The waffle maker looked like it had never been clean. When you looked around it just didn’t look well taken care of, dirty and cob webs. Just doesn’t look like it’s maintained properly
3.5
Charming and a little funky.
I little rough around the edges. Not for the snooty by any means.

location
room, value, cleanliness, dangerous step into room unmarked

location is pretty good. close to downtown.
Don't be deceived by Booking's photo of this hotel. The reality will let you down very much. This whole hotel is in poor condition, worse than a regular motel. And the price is insane.

.The location was convienent to center of town.
The check in process and staffing seemed scattered and the place has potential but needs a lot of cleaning and work/maintenance. The lobby was not open in the morning for coffee, continental breakfast or to check out.

Lovely hotel room.
I was charged $14 on top of the Booking.com price when I checked in. First time this has happened.

Cheapest option in Ojai. The exterior of the hotel and the location were good.
We booked very last minute but were given the absolute worst room right beside the hotel entrance. I could hear other's conversations clear as day and the traffic was so loud that it woke me up in the morning. Should have said something and asked for a better room because it was the worst hotel experience I've had. Also, some clean carpets on the tiled floors would be nice.

The second room we were moved to was more what we were expecting.. The room was fairly clean.
The first room they put us in was not clean (tooth brush and toothpaste left in shower), toilet paper roll half full, the room did not match any of the images from the website. Had a view of the back fence and not the mountains as discribed. The entrance was a narrow dark passage in back of the building. There was an additional door to the lobby with a dead bolt operated from the lobby side.
In the 2nd room we got moved to, the tile in the shower was crumbling / eroding, the sink faucet did not reach far enough into the sink and leaked down the back of the sink each time you used it.

location
leaking roofs over walkways and in lobby areas.

Unique rustic Old Mexico architecture; mini-patio; staff….
Sign not lighted/visible from road…drove right by on a return trip…

very cozy, clean & loved the unique decor

decent location and funky antique decor.
Old, low quality, lack of maintenance. Room was dirty including a lovely dab of spit up toothpaste from the last guest left on the counter of the sink for us. The bathroom floor was also dirty and dusty. This place is charging Hilton prices for Motel 6 quality. Awful bed in need of replacing didn’t give us much sleep nor did the low quality sweaty sheets.

Location is within walking distance to town. parking located direction front of room.
it was extremely expensive for the facility. breakfast was nothing special. housekeeping left a note in our room suggesting we tip them, but we found the room (floor and bathroom) dirty and not cleaned well.

the Spanish architecture, the antiques. it reminded me of New Mexico. the gorgeous views with arched porticos. i could live there.
the 11 am check out time. noon is better

Very cute. Looks like a house or a big villa. The colors, the stained glass, The pool and jacuzzi clean.
Thé breakfast isn’t really one. It’s more like a couple of viennoiseries, coffee, muffin, jam. You barely see the food because the quantity is negligible. I brought my own cheese and yogurt.
3.5
Very cute exterior, location a big plus. Could easily walk into downtown Ojai. Interior decor cute and interesting. Doesn't require a two night stay on the weekend
Not clean - ants in the jacuzzi tub, multiple different stains on the sheets. The height of the bed was confusing, had to climb steps on get a running start. Parking lot was a little odd, but it seems like they have coordinated extra parking with nearby bank. When I tried to checkout there were no attendants at the desk for over 10 minutes. It'd probably be fine except it was a $400 stay for a motel quality experience.

Cute Mediterranean-style motel. Great view from the little patio area in front of my room!
The bed was very firm but surprisingly slept super well in it
