We stayed in the 2 bedroom Penthouse Suite and it was very nice and big but when we arrived the airconditioner hadn't been turned on and the room was very hot and stuffy. There were ants on the kitchen benches and in the jug....I know an Australian Problem. We had trouble with the airconditioner in the kitchen not getting cold enough and the one in the bedrooms almost froze us to death. The Main Bedroom wasn't as bad as the 2nd Bedroom. You could feel the cold air coming out from under the door when you walked past that it was very cold but the main bedroom was barely cool. We asked for someone to have a look but being the weekend the manager came and had a look but didn't do anything because it was working not too bad by then but had it's moments. I slept with 2 blankets and couldn't get warm so didn't enjoy my stay as I was exhausted from not sleeping well. The fridge wasn't even that cold. We had beautiful views of the beach from the balcony and a short walk to plenty of restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Check in and out was done quickly without a problem. On site parking was easy to access.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the only down side was that the balcony sliding door wouldn't open and therefore was unusable. This was reported to reception but unfortunately was not fixed during our short stay.

Convenient location for walking to beaches, shops and restaurants. Studio apartments are small, but have everything you need. Some extra communication regarding fire alarms including notifications of all clear would be useful.

Foyer to room, which splits off to two different roofs smelt old & unclean. Blankets pulled from wardrobe had the same smell. Room was a lot smaller than appeared in booking photos. Shower room had mould. King bed was two singles pushed together, not very comfortable, pillows also very average. Facilities good on top of bars and restaurants etc. and close to beach.

Lovely hotel. Very helpful friendly staff (especially Natasha).The location of the hotel was very convenient for the things we needed to do such as see family and get out and about.

Could not believe there was NO television available not even freeview This is the first time ever that this has happened even the smallest country motel has free TV. Paying $300 a night is a rip off and I will certainly tell all members of the 4 clubs in brisbane I belong to avoid this venue.
It is a pity that the rooms are wonderfull but the amendities are pitifull .

Each morning at 7 am the rubbish trucks loading noise level is so bad it is impossible to sleep in. No consideration for guest’s wellbeing. Rooms are clean but way too small for the price.Gym equipment not maintained and worn out. The best experience was the dining amenities in the lobby area and the entertainment with music.

To be charged an exhortation amount when multiple construction going on. Customer service was both rude and non existent - as well this morning walking to lift the front desk staff walked past without a hello! No communication with staff or ease of getting around to find things. Got stuck in lift and didn’t even get an apology let alone a discount…why have a chopping board with no knife to use with it?

We stayed in the Harbour Tower , and we didn’t receive a free breakfast. Upon check in , I found out that only Ocean View receives breakfast . That was disappointing.
The kettle in the room was faulty and would randomly turn on by itself .
However , overall, our stay was very relaxing . We enjoyed the stay and we’ll be back
