Excellent stay , The whole B&B was amazingly decorated throughout, spotless in all areas , room was of a good standard and great for my solo stay , felt safe and welcomed. Lounge area had large tv ( also smaller 1 in rooms ) with tea and coffee . Dining room had a luxurious feel to it , breakfast was amazing , hot and cooked fresh , nothing was any trouble for Tina . Had my own front door key so could come and go when wanted to . Just 5 mins walk from south bay , with great views out to sea , plus 15 mins walk into town centre . This was great little find and a bargain price with a 4 star rating , would definitely return and recommend to family and friends . The was no negatives to my stay .

From the moment we arrived Tina the owner made us very welcome, she was friendly bubberley ensuring everything was ok, our room was very clean, extra bedding if required even a extra heater if you wanted it, breakfast was great arriving nice and hot, with a grest choice, no complaints, Tina was very compassionate after my wife tripped and broke a bone in her wrist when out and about, so will definitely making a return visit .

Two adults and a child in a triple room. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast in the morning was nice, good choice too. Everything we need for our stay. I would recommend this b&b. The lady that ran it was very pleasant indeed. She took good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed

Our stay at the Powys Lodge was excellent. Tina, the host was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts are wonderful and the rooms are nice. The only thing to note is if there are any senior members in the group it might be worth requesting a room on the first floor as the second floor involves a few flights of stairs. Good quiet and safe location close to the centre. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed for a weekend in a family room. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Tina was lovely and very welcoming. The breakfasts had plenty of choice and all cooked to order.

What a lovely place to stay, we’d never stayed in a B&B before and didn’t know what to expect but this place was perfect. It’s so clean and the host, Tina, is so friendly and makes you feel right at home. Our room was great, as we had a door between us and the kids so they could go to bed and not be disturbed by us. Breakfast was lovely, you ordered what you wanted the night before and put the time you would be down and it came out as you got down. We had such a lovely stay.

Guest house owner extremely welcoming and friendly, room very comfortable, clean, en suite bathroom very clean, would definitely book this guest house again;! Breakfast was fab with great choices for adults & kids. Well worth a stay! Thank you to Tina for her amazing hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay. Tina our host was friendly and accommodating meeting our every need. Fabulous breakfast with a lot of choices. The room was well furnished and clean. Free parking on-site and on street with permit from Tina. The esplanade was a 10 min walk away. Will definitely stay here again.

B&Bs like this area brilliant at everything they can to have a say in, but it's the luck of the draw when out comes to noisey fellow guests & how much the seagulls make a racket through the night. Everything else was faultless except us finding the single beds rather firm, but that tends to be down to personal choice.

A quiet and comfortable place to stay with a warm and friendly host. The single room has adequate space although the ensuite bathroom was a bit too small for me. The breakfasts were very good as was the location of the accommodation - approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the rail station / town centre.

I found the Powys Lodge Hotel to be a little jem. The Hostess was extremely friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. My room (single) was a delight, everything was provided for a comfortable stay. Food was plentiful and well presented. The restrictions due to covid were in place, but did not deter from the warm welcoming experience. Everyone was safe and well looked after. I Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.
