A truly wonderful property all round!! Clean, well appointed rooms, amazing breakfast, lots of outdoor seating in beautiful garden, delicious food, plentiful complimentary amenities and friendly, helpful staff everywhere. I would highly recommend staying here:it is a wonderful oasis, has an amazing view of the mountains and is very close to Salzburg. Only wish I could have stayed longer! My one recommendation for improvement would be to lower the pool temperatures as they were all on the warm side, especially the large one which was like bath water.

My family enjoyed a beautiful stay at the Laschensky hotel. We had the family suite with an amazing view of der Untersberg. We are picky about beds and found ours to be very comfortable. There was a great playground to help keep our kids happy while we all adjusted to the new time zone.

Everything was very convenient and beautiful around the property. The pool the playground for the kids and the outdoor restaurant. Very relaxing.

Wonderful stay just 10ish mins drive from the city center. I would be happy to stay at Laschensky again. I got Laschensky recommended by a friend whom used to live in Salzburg and it really delivered on its expectations. We were traveling with our baby daughter and it was great to have her swim in the heated pool together with the rest of us. The only thing missing was a bumper for the baby bed. It would be great if the hotel would acquire such before our next visit :-)

I had a comfortable stay. The room was well appointed with pleasing decor.

Very helpful staff. When I told them Eurowings lost my bag, the staff was very helpful in trying to accommodate me the best they could. Only wish the rest of my trip I could have stayed here.

Well another fantastic night at this great hotel before flying home from Salzburg. Lovely rooms, fabulous evening meal and scrumptious breakfast. Staying here on the last night of our holiday takes all the hassle out of travelling back to airport early morning to catch our flight home!

Had great time second time we have stayed. Plan to go back next year.

Wow! What a fantastic hotel. Due to the heavy snow falling we were worried about travelling the 11/4hrs from Bad Gastein to the airport in the early hours of Saturday morning, so decided to book a room at Laschenskyhof on Friday night. So glad we did as this hotel is fantastic! The rooms are more like suites, clean, comfortable, spacious and the en-suite bathroom was superb! The views from the balcony over this quite part of Salzburg and the surrounding mountains were beautiful! We had a meal in the restaurant from a vast menu which turned out to be one of the best dinners we have eaten from the area. As we were only 1.6km from the airport we expected the meal to be the most expensive from our holiday, but no! It was in fact it was the cheapest! Again in the morning the inclusive buffet breakfast (hot & Cold) was very filling! Throughout our stay the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We thoroughly recommend this hotel for either an overnight stay before your flight or infact a stay over several days to visit Salzburg and the surrounding area.

The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was great. Great atmosphere for an Austrian visit!

Continental breakfast was included in our stay and absolutely delicious!!! My only disappointment was that the rooms do not have air conditioning (although I heard thats common in Austria). However, we went in July and it was really hot! Maybe A/C can be added in the future?? Just a thought... Otherwise, lovely hotel, very family friendly, and I would recommend it! The hotel is clean and has a good breakfast. Unfortunately, it has major construction taking place immediately next door. The noise begins promptly at 7:00 am or so and continues throughout the day into the early evening. The hotel has no AC and while we were there it was very hot. The photos on the site make it appear as if the hotel is in a nice rural area. It is not.

Typical European hotel with no air conditioner. It was about 91F/32C so it was pretty hot inside. The fan that was provided didn’t give much relief. But other than that, the check in and check out process were very quick and the breakfast was good too.

Food is terrific and locally produced, some from the farm on which the hotel is located. The rooms are spacious and immaculately kept. A bus leaves near the hotel for a twenty minute ride to Salzburg every fifteen minutes.

Spent 2 nights in the family apartment, 1 bedroom with a pull out sofa bed in the sitting room/kitchen area. Room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for 2 adults, 2 young children that don't mind sharing a bed.The grounds of the hotel are charming. My children enjoyed the pool and the playground.

Family-owned/operated. Very beautiful setting just 5 minutes from the Germany/Austria border. Right around the corner from the W.A. Mozart airport and about a 10 minute drive into the city center. Then the restaurant blew me away. You MUST have the Apple Strudel.

Eating from the farm was a great experience. Everything was delicious and the staff was very helpful. We do not speak German and they helped us with the transportation needs.

This hotel is a fantastic option outside of downtown Salzburg. It is very easy to get to by car or bus, and there is on the direct bus line into the old city. They have all sorts of free inclusions: electric bicycles, ipads, nearby spa & gym, etc. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and really go out of their way every day to make you feel at home.

The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are spacious and clean and the restaurant and bar are both wonderful. My husband enjoyed the sauna as well. Highly recommend!
