Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great breakfast buffet with numerous options. One of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve experienced. Room was spacious, clean and very quiet. Location is great; a block away from the subway. Highly recommend. They exceeded expectations.

We were two friends staying only one night before as cruise but they had taxi service to the hotel, had a room ready early when we arrived, and even traded rooms at no extra cost for more beds! Charming, so helpful, centrally located and th Ed only thing needing attention is breakfast where nothing was served hot.

Beautiful decor. Lovely helpful staff. Only few minutes walk to all the tourist attractions. Enjoyed complimentary breakfast. Plenty of restaurants around. Quiet. Hotel organised transfers.

When we walk into the room, there is trash -(drunk water bottle and paper ) on the floor. And the front desk isn't really helpful in resolving the issue.

We had a great stay at the hotel. For an old hotel it is spotlessly clean and very grand. The room was large with high ceilings and big windows. One large superking and two singles beds. Very large bathroom too.
The airline had lost our luggage and the staff couldn't have been more helpful trying to phone the airport and making enquiries for us. It is an expensive hotel but compares well to all the other hotels in this area. It's perfectly positioned for the best part of Austria.

Hotel was very clean and in a great location. Served a great breakfast. 2 minute walk to metro and could walk to all major landmarks and surrounded by restaurants. We travelled as a family of 4 (2 teenage daughters) and stayed in a family room (queen bed, single bed and a foldout bed), a little cramped but manageable for 2 nights. Highly recommend for a couple and one child. Upto you if your kids can handle a foldout bed for the 4th child.

Wonderful place. Clean old world charm. Great breakfast. Great big room. Would go back every time if we were in vienna. Only issue….and that is not much is that we had trouble finding but probably more our fault. It is down a side street lane but location is so quaint and cool that we felt like we were in our own oasis. Recommend yes.

The service at Hotel Austria was great. There was always someone available to assist when I had questions. I also arranged an airport transfer and the driver was there when he needed to be. Overall I had a great experience. The only downside was the walls are very thin and I could hear people in the next room and going up and down the stairs throughout the night.

Have stayed at this hotel many times in the past. It has been a wonderful experience every time. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is great and the location of the hotel is most convenient to walking about and to subway stations. Am looking forward to my visit next year.

Nice hotel, friendly desk staff at check in. Nice, old place. Room had a courtyard view. No air conditioning but there was a good floor fan and large opening windows.Very nice firm bed with good pillows. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a glass door but the door opened out so that it hit the edge of the metal towel rail when about half way open. I was worried that it might get broken if it was opened a bit too fast. The room had a kettle, tea, and instant coffee. Breakfast was included and the buffet was very good. Overall I liked my stay here.

This is a smaller hotel that is family operated. I can not say enough excellent things about. The rooms are immaculate, the reception staff become friends immediately upon entrying. There is nothing that they will will not do to help you. Quiet in the middle of "old town" lots of night and day activities....great vibes in the local community....The restoration done to the building brings together old and new....just stay there you will not regret it...on top of it the included breakfest was better than your mother's...good selection and well prepared...
