It was a fairly nice hotel styled as a lodging house with shared restroom facilities. I had to call the property numerous times to receive my access code (as I was arriving outside check-in time) even though I was told they would email me the information.

the toilet always had some sort of running water sound, which was uncomfortable at times, not to mention that the sound proofing of the room is very poor. the breakfast options are also limited. for 15 euros it makes more sense to have something from around the corner. the hotel is quite old, but staff are generally friendly.

Great location just a short walk from the metro stop. Also delicious food options nearby. Paserty shop and a great brasserie right there, too - definitely order the rosti!

The room was clean but the comfort was quite limited. I could not charge my computer, neither my phone. No bottle of water in the room, and the breakfast was very limited in terms of choice.
The rooms were not soundproofed and my neighbours shower was so noisy that I couldnot hear the TV.
Anyway, for the price I paid, I expected better.

We liked the Hotel very much....Near Dining....near attractions and around the lake.......Friendly staff....Reasonably priced.....walkable........Clean rooms.....and a safe area. We even were able to walk to the Train station....15 minutes. Loved it all.

One of the better budget options I've stayed in. There was a lift. There was a small kitchenette however there was no plug in the kitchen sink, which made washing dishes difficult. I did ask reception and housekeeping about this but in my two day stay no plug was provided. I was locked in the shower cubicle! It used a very old lock and key, which was impossible to unlock, I had to shout out for help!

Good stay. Near city center. Walkable to alot of tourist spots. Family room fits 4 people. Has own bathroom and shower. Only 3 parking spot. Luckily we got a spot.

Quaint hotel uphill from almost everything. 4 adults (parents & adult kids) were a tight fit in family room, but we made it work. Several blocks from nearest tram & bus stop.

The entrance area is kind of dark, not so inviting. The staff was great. Possibly more options for something to drink or snack on from the vending machine. The wi fi was down half of the time I stayed. Also, it was impossible to get a password if you didn't have a phone that worked in Switzerland. The password for the wi fi was sent to your phone as a text. If you didn't have service, no wi fi. It was a little tough cooling off the room. I was pretty hot outside during the day and pretty uncomfortable in the room until very late at night.

Good location to move about in Lausanne, as it's very near to the train station. Hotel room is clean. We had a triple room and it was relatively spacious for 3 of us.

The reception is not always open, the area did not feel safe, and there was a suspicious person at the door when we came back from dinner. An online search of the safety in the area confirmed our fears. The adverse feedback to hotels.com on our experience was met with a personal push-back from the receptionist and an argumentative and legalistic e-mail from the hotel director.

Conveniently located close to a metro stop. Sharing bathroom and toilet was not an issue at all. Nice big sink in the room. Room is spacious and clean.
