Great hotel with good location and excellent breakfast. The hotel boat can take you to the BTS. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful hotel located on the Chao Phraya River, just south of many sites. The hotel provides a complimentary ferry service to nearby Sathorn pier, which is about one block from the Skytrain. We opted to ferry everywhere from there which is a beautiful way to navigate this city as long as you dont mind waiting for the boats. With great views, fabulous breakfast, a variety of dinner options and concierge service, we could not have been happier with this choice.

Really impresdive hotel, with an amazing staff. We need to mention two outstanding teammbers, who really went above and beyond. Firstly your waiter Lak - so serviceminded, smiling, open and attention to details. Keep her for tests and let her train and supervise your newcomers. Secondly, your receptionist Amy, who was super helpful. Make sure you tell them. The only improvement could be better/more frequent shuttle board to ICONSIAM and Asiatique - other hotels offer such.

Hotels website gave me VIP treatment . The only thing I completely missed out on was the 20 percent off goods and services which was not given by the hotel but it was mentioned during check in . I completely forgot to bring it up during check out . So look out for that . Great prices for indoor dining , amazing breakfast , and quaility food. Type of stay that could make you stay in

I love Bangkok but not this hotel. No hot water in the mornings. Engineers came in the late afternoon & of course there was hot water then but not in the mornings. Terrible location due to school drop offs & pick ups. Food was not tasty. Leaky shower, temp in room was uncontrollable. Never again.

Spacious big rooms with Great breakfast! Staffs are great! Offers very convenient water taxi to iconsiam and near by BTS station.

Service is really poor and customer are rude to the guest. We checked out and our flight was evening and they had no facility to stay for a little or use the guest room. Complementary breakfast is terrible and it’s the same one everyday.

This was our first time to Bangkok and we thought the Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok was a good choice especially for location. They have courtesy shuttle that takes you up to the main pier not far from the hotel, probably a 5 minute ride on the river. It's quite easy from there to get anywhere (and the subway system stops there also, green line) and there are English-speaking people selling boat tickets. You can also buy tickets from that pier to take those long tailed speed boats, which are a nice canal tour. Also of course, the River ferry boats will take you up anywhere to the kind of main tourist attractions such as the palace or anywhere else you'd like to go and the cost is very low, less than one hundred Baht. Easier this than trying a taxi or tuk tuk in Bangkok traffic! The concierge at the hotel was quite helpful and had a very good tourist map, which we used quite a bit. The hotel itself was quite beautiful and clean. Even though it was fairly busy, they seemed to run it like a well-oiled machine. We had breakfast included with our stay. And the buffet breakfast probably had 200 items or more. I can't imagine there's anything else anyone would want to eat. The pool is also quite large. It is on the 6th floor and you can go for a swim and one end of it overlooks the river. Our room was upgraded to a suite, which was quite fabulous and very large. We very much enjoyed the room, lots of hot water, great AC and a nice balcony! The Wi-Fi in the hotel was very fast.

Unbelievable views right in the river. Book your canal tour from the hotel and the boat will pick you at the hotel. Concierge was awesome, took our laundry down the street to our preferred vendor. Breakfast buffet was the best in Thailand. Definitely a 5 star experience for a fraction of the price to the Four Seasons next door.

Spacious, scenic, clean and neat.

The view of the river was amazing. Taking the boat to icon mall was such a fun experience. The buffet breakfast was perfect every morning. The staff was very polite. Our room showed a little wear and tear, but the view of the river totally made up for that. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

The food variety and quality for the tea break and evening cocktail for lounge access can be improved.

We were there with our 4 children's and it was just amazing!! The friendly staff is just awesome. The pool is very nice and the included breakfast is really good! We will go back for sure!! :)

The facility are clean and friendly stuff, but it is far from any attraction. in Bangkok and also very expensive Unlimited in dining.

This ia amazing place to stay. I highly recommended it, especially for solo traveler, very safe and they have a boat shuttle to drop you off a long the river.

Although we only stayed one night we were upgraded upon checking in, a beautiful hotel that I cannot fault, will definitely stay again

Nice staff and food

Fabulous hotel on the riverside - huge room, comfy beds, staff couldn’t do anymore to look after us, loved the pool on 6th floor, river shuttle was used so many times as we explored the city. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - loved loved it

My wife and I stay was wonderful, we will definitely be staying here again!

I like the hotel for its view to the River and the good food at the a la carte restaurants however I don’t feel welcomed by the staff at the pool area. They don’t smile and walk around looking at you like you have done something wrong. I thought may be it’s just me but for all 3 days I was at the pool, it was the same behavior. I don’t doubt that they work hard but no smile is on display and they walk around with a semi angry face. Not sure what it’s about while the reception staff were very pleasant.

The people on our floor were rude and noisy. A/C in our room leaked onto floor in puddles, bathroom smelled of mildew and mould, making my husband very unwell. Benjamas in the restaurant was wonderful and attentive. Mr Por at Concierge Services was helpful.

The hotel’s room and service were great. Only thing that can be improved is that the AC sometimes took a very long time to bring the temperature down in the bedroom and there was occasional noise from construction on some days. If your room is on the lower floors of the hotel near the pool floor, you will hear kids screaming which may wake you up depending on when you wake up in the morning.
