Amazing place, beautiful garden and very friendly staff

Our Garden Bungalow at Palms City was an ideal base to explore the city and area. In an excellent location for walking to the main areas of interest the resort is a lovely green oasis in contrast to the high rise hotels around. Our Garden Bungalow was comfortable, well equipped and spacious with a good balcony area where we ate our meals.
As it happened we didn’t use the pool but it looked good and seemed quite lively. Disappointed though that the one time we decided to use the (limited hours) pool bar they had run out of cocktails 😕 That’s why I marked service down from 5*.
We hadn’t booked breakfast and didn’t use the dining area but it seemed well used and looked good.
Overall really pleased we stayed here and would definitely be our first choice for a return to Darwin

Rooms are small and can hear people walking past the room. It didn't feel private.

This is one of my favourite properties in Darwin. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathroom is compact but excellent. Nothing like a great shower at the end of the day. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was available and plentiful. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean villas. Bathrooms very nice. However there were some ants so don’t leave open food lying around. Put it all in the fridge in the kitchenette. Pickles the concierge parrot was a great hit. Central location. Parking provided for the villas.

A great location on the Esplanade. The bungalows are very well equipped, with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Loved the outdoor deck area, lush gardens and pool. The 24 hour reception is also great and staff very helpful and friendly.

Nice renovated room and very clean. Friendly staff and parking was easy. Breakfast was ok. When I arrived at the buffet it was already out of a lot of options half an hour before closing time. There was some noise from the bar/pub just behind the hotel (not all rooms are having this issue). In any case the hotel is very nice just some smaller issues that could be solved easily.

Nice location, and reception was friendly and helpful. Loved a green cheek conure “pickle” that greet you at the front desk. The room was clean but very small for three adults (triple room), and sink stopper was stuck and it was hard to remove to release the water, that needs to be fixed.

I stayed for just a night. Part of the hotel was under the construction. I'm sure that's done by now. Room was cozy and nice right next to the main Park in downtown Darwin.
