Did not wipe the numerous piss lines running down the bottom of the toilet, used face cloth in closet, hair behind door in bathroom and hair in sink.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn for 5 days. The location was perfect to see and do everything in Rapid City. Housekeeping is only available on request, but the staff gladly gave us coffee, cups, and towels as needed. We did have them come in one day and clean, which was nice. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was large, but could have used a fan. There also should be a nother bar or a shelf in the tub area. The shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were very nice. I liked having a bar of soap by the sink. Breakfast had a nice variety and the lady who worked there kept it well stocked and clean. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, because it wasn't appealing and the hottub was small. Overall we were very pleased, especially with the location. This is petty, but it bothered me that the lampshades had the seams in the front, not the back. Also there was dust on the back of the bed lamp, and dust on top of the microwave and refrigerator.

Check in was quick, bed was comfortable, but our room could really use a new AC unit. It was so loud, it woke everyone up every time it kicked on all night long. So annoying I was almost thankful we had to check out at 4am for a flight home.

AMAZING STAFF! Everyone that we encountered was pleasant and helpful! Room was great and the bed was comfy. We really loved the location of this hotel for our needs as well.

Positives were the friendly staff, walk in shower, clean and comfortable bedding.
Negatives were stained carpet in room, noise from other guests, and the area for dogs had trash, broken glass, and dried up grass. Breakfast was subpar with the same thing every day.

Hotel was convenient access to the Interstate and Black Hills attractions. Also convenient to downtown. Breakfast was varied and good. My stay was great and a good choice for my plans!

Overall, the property could better maintained. During my two night stay, the bathroom toilet never did work properly, even after reporting issue to front desk. I saw some carpet areas not vacuumed as well as they could have been. Interior maintenance was fair. Would I stay there again, probably not. For the price, it could have been better!

After readinf reviews about bed bugs, blood, and trash in bed, we called to cancel our reservation. We were given the run around from both the hotel and Expedia. We requested a one time courtesy refund without penalty. Both the hotel and Expedia said it was up to the other party and that they would speak with them and help us out, both atated that the "other" party was not willing to provide a refund. We just found a better, more reliable hotel. Thank goodness.
