I loved that there was a laundromat right around the corner. Most hotels will offer to do your laundry for you for a high price, which I refuse to pay. This was the only one on our trip where I could do my own laundry.

Walking distance from the bus station and all the main sights in the city. Yes it’s not down the street from it, but it allows you to see more of the city. I also loved how clean it was, how nice everyone was and the buffet breakfast was also very good!!! I’d stay here again for sure.

Upon leaving the reception area and reaching the third floor the smell of cigarette smoke became extremely strong. Stale Cigarettes covered with cheap perfume smell throughout the lobby and corridors and continuing to a lesser degree into the room. Very unpleasant especially due to the muggy heat. The carpet in the room was dated and worn and it turned out…..flea infested! Ankles and lower legs covered in bites that could not have come from elsewhere due to clothing and footwear making it impossible. Staff were fairly unfriendly - we had already mentioned cigarette smoke and been dismissed - so we decided not to bother approaching them about bites. We would strongly advise avoiding this hotel On the plus side if you do insist on staying here the breakfast buffet was extensive and adequate and the staff in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful

The area is just across from the central station. Trams are also very frequent in the area. It about 15-minute walk to Tkalčićeva where restaurants abound. There also many restaurants close by. On the right side of the property is the main park where you can rest under the shade of the trees especially on hot days. The property is clean with a lift that only goes to the 4th floor. The hotel has 5 floors. Make sure to check which floor is your room when you book. The staff serving breakfast are quite nice and friendly.

Good location

The property is located close to the bus and train station which is really helpful. The main attractions are also nearby and very much walkable. The room provided was clean and spacious but had windows only high up near the ceiling which was strange. The breakfast spread was very good. Really liked the variety and freshness of everything. For one night, this was good hotel to stay in.

The hotel close to train station. The main square where most tourist activities are 700m away. If you don’t mind waking then it’s a pretty good location as those nearer to the square have vehicle restrictions.

Convenient location. Quiet and clean.

Perfect one-night stay on our way from Ljubljana to Dubrovnik. Easy 15-minute walk to the main square. Another 5 minutes to plenty of restaurants. Our kids were happy in the family room, each with their own bed. The breakfast was great. And they let us extend our checkout time to 12.

Lovely clean, comfortable hotel opposite the train station but only about a 10 minute walk from the centre. The cleaning and maintenance staff were particularly helpful.

We had a great stay in Hotel Central! It was so conveniently located which was perfect for our early train ride. The staff were helpful. For example, I had to borrow scissors and the receptionist helped me with that. The free buffet breakfast was amazing. There was so much variety and the dining room staff was very helpful - teaching me how to use the machines and refilling my water bottles. The room was pretty spacious. It was clean and quiet. Overall, highly recommended.

A nice, pleasant, spacious hotel in very convenient central, walkable location near streetcars and train station. Buffet breakfast is very ample, with great variety and taste.

Great location near to rail station

Great location, although noisy. Closing the windows helps. Climate control works well. Room was comfortable enough, with nice & clean bathroom, but the shower door leaked a bit. Excellent breakfast options were included. Staff was very helpful. My #1 reason for staying here was the walkable location close to transportation around the city.

No complaints. Nothing fancy, but everything was good. Would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for basic accommodation in Zagreb.

After travelling for 2 months through Europe I found your reception staff cold and they gave me the impression we were bothering them. I asked a question and got a one word answer which was NO. During breakfast I noticed people coming in and saying good morning to some of the staff and no reply just ignore and the same happened to me. Nice hotel nice location but staff morale and attitude needs addressing. I very seldom review my stays but I was really amazed to see so many staff that portrayed unhappy employees.

A convenient hotel centrally located in downtown Zagreb

One has to take a bus or some form of transportation from the airport to the hotel. But it is a walkable distance to the central bus station. The walk to the center of the town was easy. The breakfast was excellent. The room is clean with AC. Overall, we were happy that we selected this hotel.

Hotel has all the necessities. It’s convenient proximity to the train station.

My room smelt stale. The odor hit me as soon as I opened the door. I the conceirge if there was another room. He offered me no apologizes but a room with 2 single beds vs my queen. That room smelt also. The conceirge said he didn't understand, "what does it mean that it smells? I asked for air fresheners or spray he said, no. The room continued to smell my entire stay.

Very clean. Excellent breakfast...even the coffee cups were pre-warmed. Nice staff. Only problem was noisy pipes on wall that rattled when trams went past out front.
