A GREAT SIZE ROOM, renovated well and lovely staff and well located

Used to be a great place to stay, but look elsewhere as they no longer offer bag storage facilities if you get there before check in.
I was lucky that they had the room ready by 12pm, but that would be the exception not the rule.
Also for $200 a night, how hard is it to have a microwave or toaster in the room?

Was fine but later in the evening could smell cigarette smoke in my room and in hallway . It lasted all night and made sleeping uncomfortable as it was all I could smell and it irritated my eyes nose and throat.

I just think that 10 am is very late to run a hotel business to check people in and on the other hand it’s hard to find staff to ask about hotel concerns after midnight because this place is also a sports bar and it gets very busy

We had a room next to the rooftop bar and it was very hard to sleep with the noise, the hotel did supply earplugs which says it all. The food was fantastic

Location is good and within 1km of shopping areas. The area feels safe and good neighborhoods. Good eat close by.
Unfortunately, rooms are really run down and my aircon didn't function all night. The staff tried fixing it with no success and I was not offered any compensation. Renovation is really needed guys. Thanks.

This hotel is perfectly situated just a few steps from Central Sydney Station and a tram stop, in a walking distance to China Town and even the city center. There is a rather noisy pub downstairs. My room had only the basic equipment and rather shabby. However, bed was O.K. and so was the bathroom. Free WiFi worked well. Staff was polite and did their best to be helpful.

Repairs to property at 6.30 -7.00 am . Loud noises unable to sleep . No hot water . Ring and made complaint. Asked to leave for my complaint.

Keep away from this hotel . Sent message to head office. No reply. Only possible reason staff would have said untrue things . No problem staying at other hotels

Loved the staff all very helpful. Nedded a wifi password in the room. Door to room was confusing to lock. Manager on the day was excellent.

Simple and clean enough room.
Facilities are a little old but completely functional.
Incredibly convenient location and very easy to get back to your room at any hour.
- Venue doesn't open until 10am, so arriving early to drop off bags is impossible.
- Room has little to no soundproofing right next to central station, tram line and loud pub patrons.
- Bizarrely there was a floodlight pointed directly at the window which the curtains could not block out entirely.

Great room, just noisy with the light rail. Curtains blocked out most of the light but the flood lights on the exterior of the building made the room too light which made sleeping difficult.
It is a brilliant location and very central but good to know what you are in for and the price reflects the things listed
