Fabian is brilliant for a cultural visit in Helsinki. The location is excellent, quiet and handy for walks. The rooms are big and very tastefully decorated. Great breakfast and very friendly staff.

Easy to find. If coming by ferry, verify your port. Hotel is walking distance to many activities and restaurants. Small market nearby. Breakfast is fantastic. Close to train station. Comfy bed and quality linens. Lots of hot water. Very safe place.

Stay was great and a good place to explore the city walking distance to the habour and boats to the islands. Hotel in a peaceful location and easy to get about on foot or by tram. Hotel is nice, fairly self sufficient. Breakfast was great and fresh, though its a bit of a tight squeeze in the morning trying get around the kitchen area! Our room was nice though the ac didn't work for a few days so they opened the windows for us which was ok! Its quite a compact hotel with a small reception area. Overall nice hotel and very chill.

A lovely hotel. Our suite was spacious and a delight to be in.Very well appointed, quiet and very comfortable with a sofa and an armchair. 2 big screens. The situation was excellent. The only minor niggle is that the breakfast buffet is laid out awkwardly in a small space causing congestion and delays. Reception staff excellent.

At the time of booking, it would’ve been nice to know that there was construction opposite the hotel.
The elevator is completely black and very uninviting.
The air-conditioning in our room did not work whatsoever. In fact it got hotter the longer we stayed there. The breakfast was very good.
The staff were helpful As much as they could be to try to fix our air-conditioning, but it didn’t work regardless. The front desk staff also were very helpful in directing us where things were.

A/C did hardly work so I had to keep it running for my entire stay which made me sick. Hotel staff did not do anything about it. Location of hotel is really good, but all in all not worth the money… There are a lot of other options with better price / value in the area!

Good location and nice decor. However, I was completely unable to sleep due to the always-on HVAC system that runs at around 50db even when turned fully off on the panel in the room. Either it is malfunctioning and needs repair or should be replaced completely.
I can tolerate a certain level of ventilation noise but this was ridiculous.

Had a lovely stay in a spacious room with a seating area that was perfect for me and my friend.
The breakfast had plenty choice and the bar snacks were delicious.

Fantastic staff - super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was amazing and even included a number of gluten free options. Good bread and butter, meats, fresh fruit, oatmeal, eggs, smoothie, etc. My room was cute and quiet. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Street and garage parking nearby were pretty pricey but I think that’s common for the area. Probably easy to take public transportation here as well. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

2 nights in Helsinki before going to Lapland. Room ready on arrival, warm welcome, clean, large, well equipped room. Great bed, good shower and even ‘chrome cast TV’ allowing us to stream from my phone directly onto large screen TV. Good breakfast, excellent location.

Well located hotel with excellent breakfast but the cleanliness was really poor. No pillow protectors and stained pillows which we had to clean ourselves, rubbish stuffed between the beds, lots of hairs and stains on furnishings

This was a great find - the hotel was in a quiet location but restaurants and shops were all within walking distance. The room were large and clean and the breakfast was a surprise bonus.

Hotel Fabian is conveniently located in a trendy neighborhood near museums, markets,.restaurants and boutiques.
The breakfast offered provides gluten-free items, cold cuts, cheese,.smoothies, fresh fruits and vegetables, oatmeals with local berries, delicious coffee and even egg souffle.
The staff is friendly and very serviceable.
