We stayed here for one night and it was perfect. We chose the hotel for it's close location to the synagogue (across the road). The room and pool area were lovely and the staff were so helpful and accommodating to our requirements. The only negative I can think of is that you can hear what's going on in the hallways quite clearly from the room, but this didn't bother us. I would 100% recommend this hotel. ALSO, I had the best cappuccino of my entire stay in Thailand at the poolside bar.

Lovely hotel close to many restaurants, easy access to river tours. Pool was closed when we were there which was a surprise…not a particularly pleasant one but ok. The room was lovely but I wouldn’t pay again for a balcony river view…average view at best…perhaps the location though. Staff were fabulous. We didn’t eat there. Very comfortable room.

Riva Surya has a beautiful location, and exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. The restaurant is open all day, and has a variety of dishes that are very well prepared. The room was very comfortable. The hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay, to the pool, as well to the rooms. Periodic maintenance is of course necessary, and it is unfortunate if one encounters it during one’s stay, but on the bright side, I think Riva Surya will be an exceptional place to stay when the work is completed.

Great costumer service. Very quiet and close to everything. My only recommendation will be to have a spa room. I had a Thai Traditional massage which was great but they used the area next to the pool and it was noisy since there were kids at the pool, plus they used the sofas that are not a massage bed. So they definitely need a spa room. Overall great hotel.

Everything about Riva Surya exceeded my expectations. Impeccable friendly service, gorgeous room, delicious food at the restaurant, fantastic massage by the pool, and smiles, lots of smiles. Everybody always answered all my questions and helped me with great recommendations for dinner and advice or what to do or expect. Perfect location near the major temples and attractions. New, the Front Desk Manager, was absolutely courteous and kind. He helped me calling for a restaurant reservation and, overall, he was always on top of things. I can’t wait to my next stay here. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location. We stayed at the premium riva room and the room was large and spacious, and the view of the river is fantastic at night. Close to all the major sightseeing sites and acorss the street from thr rambuttri road. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel to stay at in Bangkok! Staff was incredibly helpful, stored our luggage during the day as our flight didn’t leave until 8pm and check out was at 12pm. Room and pool were beautiful. I’d highly recommend the hotel restaurant, the food was delicious and reasonably prices. The location of the hotel was amazing as well with the pier being a 5 minute walk away and khao san road close by. I would highly recommend!!

A great hidden gem by the river in Bangkok. Extremely friendly staff with a nice pool/deck and great views. The restaurant was great for authentic Thai cuisine, too! Would definitely recommend and revisit!

Hotel staff were awesome. Location is great, close to the pier and many restaurants. Walkable distance to Grand Palace and areas. We picked the city view room. Even though we were facing the street, we didn't notice any noise from the cars.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Many dining / shopping options and many tourist attractions nearby. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious, over looked the river and had great A/C (important in Bangkok! We had a great view of the fireworks for NYE right from our balcony!

Very friendly and helpful staff. A nice welcoming experience with a drink. Room is large and clean. Shower is very roomy. Location right on the water with a dock in back. Nice pool that we didn’t get to use.

Spacious modern rooms. Great views of the river. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Great breakfast. Only downside was the party boats going up and down the river in the evening but they were done by 9:00 or so.

Nice property located very close to hop on and off tourist boat. A great way to get around Bangkok and next to Khosan road. Staff are wonderful and very nice breakfast. Would definitely stay here when visiting Bangkok again. A great alternative to larger hotels.

Stay here! You won’t regret it. We had a balcony on the third floor overlooking the river. The room was huge and comfortable and clean. The staff, especially New, was fantastic and friendly. This hotel is the PERFECT location in Bangkok!!!

The property is one of the best along the river. Great outdoor space with a pool and dining options. Rooms are spacious, clean and have a/c. The staff are so friendly and attentive, and most things ( attractions, street food, restaurants etc) are walkable. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Riva Surya staff was tremendously helpful and dedicated to making sure our visit was pleasant. We stayed in an Urban room, which faced the street rather than the river. The room was clean, well equipped and quiet with double glass doors installed. I would highly recommend the hotel. It was very close to the tourist boats pier, which you can take to see the Grand Palace, Chinatown, etc. Across the street from the hotel are various "alleyways" that lead into vibrant restaurant/merchant activities.

From the momemt we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles all round. Nothing was too much trouble. Check in was a breeze. The room was spotless and housekeeping attended every day of our 4 night stay. Do use reception to book a taxi as they arrange for it to be "meter only" which saves you money. Its well situated for all activities and good. A brilliant bolt hole for a Bangkok stay
