Hotel wasn’t that clean. Everything had marks on and was really dusty.

The property is showing its age - rooms a bit dirty and the showers and sinks a bit dirty and warn. The hotel itself has been one of my favorites for many years… but unfortunately it’ll likely not be my choice next time as there are better options nearby.

The location is excellent and central to everything: sites, food, shopping and transportation. The hotel staff has been helpful, friendly and top line service.

Cool hotel and room. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible. It was too dim to be able to put on makeup. The air conditioning was limited. Was also put in a room near housekeeping which was a little noisy and a messy area.

We were so surprised to get off the train and our hotel was right there across the street! Very easy to navigate this location. The hotel has a really great design and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. We were super comfortable there!

Staff were friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our fridge and tv and we were moved to a new room right away. Very spacious for a European hotel. Would stay again.

We were taking a river boat out of Amsterdam and wanted to arrive early so as not to miss the boat because of possible delays. The hotel is in an active area and across the street from Amsterdam central train station. We also were able to walk to the boat pier easily the next day. Very convenient.

We loved our stay at this hotel. It has personality and felt like a sight seeing location that should be shared. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We arrived by train so it was super convenient. Everything we wanted to experience was in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

My apologies for not knowing their names but the 2 ladies on the 7am to 3pm shift are the most helpful and friendliest receptionists I have encountered in my hundreds of hotel stays. Stunning hotel, great location and wonderful staff. Highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Very convenient location

Our stay at Art'otel Amsterdam was exceptional from start to finish. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to the welcoming, friendly, and multilingual staff. Our room was ready upon arrival and offered a lovely view of the canal and Amsterdam Central train station. Despite its central location, the room was quiet, with no outside noise filtering in. The room itself was spacious and featured a peekaboo wall allowing a view through the bathroom's glass wall. The elevator's dark ambiance added to the hotel's unique vibe. However, if you rely on good lighting for makeup, I recommend bringing a portable light for the bathroom as it is dimly lit. Our room was well-equipped with a coffee/espresso maker, tea, and a bar. One minor downside is the cost of water – a 16oz bottle is a whopping 6 euros, so I suggest getting your water from the nearby supermarket. Breakfast was a very chill experience, accompanied by lounge music that made it the most relaxing start to the day. It was never crowded, there were plenty of seats, and the attentive staff seated us immediately and were always on hand to help. The hotel's artwork, spaciousness, reading area, welcoming staff, and fantastic location make it an excellent choice. I highly recommend Art'otel Amsterdam – a definite 10 out if 10

We returned to this hotel since we stayed here before. There were problems with housekeeping. For a hotel in this price range it does not offer the appropriate level of service. I would pay less and stay across the road in a number of hotels at a cheaper price

Staff was fantastic - super friendly and helpful. Check-in and out was a breeze and breakfast was delicious. Location was great and rooms were large and very comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Hotel is a great location and staffs are wonderful and friendly. Central train station to Hotel 2 minutes walking distance.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms are very spacious including the bathrooms especially for Europe. The breakfast was great and lots of choices. It is in a great location; very short walk to Amsterdam Central station. Only issue (nothing against the hotel, just how Amsterdam is) is that it is hard to get a taxi or Uber from there. Have to walk a little ways to a pick up spot.
