It was great! The toilet was clean enough to use and simple utilities such as soap and towels were provided. Air cond was in great condition as well! TV was outdated with only 1 grainy channel but that's ok, we used the guesthouse fast wifi instead. No parking was provided so opt to park elsewhere and used grab to the guesthouse.

Room not ready. Service bad. Have to ask for towel, soap and plstic bag for rubbish bin. When check out at 5.30am no one at counter. Leave the key on the table and i just go. Main entrance door unlock. So anyone can go in anytime. Cc tv yes but still not safe for travel solo esp female.

The reception is not very helpful,then they dont have any ideas to locate our parking lot. Seriously,the rooms is very stinks,got cockroach,below sinks got alot of black stains which means the room didnt clean for long time.the picture is not same like real life.its not recommended

Excellent location. Directly opposite the Filipino (night) market and Local Wet (day) market. Lots of restaurants around. Easy walk to Centrepoint (for airport bus), Jetty (Island hopping, diving) and Gaya Street (Chinatown). Able to leave luggage behind when go for climbing Mt. Kinabalu. Room is spacious and toilet OK. Very basic amenities but value for money. Note that there is no free drinking water refill or coffee kettle in room/hotel. But drinking water is cheapest in shop directly downstair (RM 1 for 1.5 L). Hotel is on 3rd floor and maybe a problem with heavy luggage.For good WiFi (slow), better to stay in rooms around reception. Last room in B block cannot receive WiFi.

Hotel view is good. I always check in for this hotel but for this time 1 am not satisfied with the cleanliness, the room were not make up properly, the floor not clean, the dustbin were not empty and water problem in the bathroom. Hope the owner of the premiss will be more careful for the next time.

Okay overall the hotel was okay. At first, I was surprised to see the area to the hotel was awful. Lots of bad smell, even the staircase was quite dirty but yaa cant blame the hotel. Check in was quick. The frontline guy (I forgot to ask his name) even had helped us to cool the room before our arrival. Niceeeee. As we walk into the room, I was so happy. The room super cleannnnn. Yay! Kudos to the HK team. stayed here for 4 nights and on the last day, the lady at the lobby even helped us to look after our luggage while we’re going for some shopping. Just one thing I that I feel like saying here, about the bathroom. They should have cleaned the bathroom thoroughly just like they cleaned the room. A bit disappointed of seeing the toilet, its not as clean as it should be. Please do something.Overall, I should say they deserved to get 3.75 star out of 5!

Quite good hotel because close to Filipina Market & easy to walk around. But too hard to find car parking because the hotel in front of main road. But it pleasant place tu stay for backpackers

We booked the family room at this budget hotel. The room was quite spacious, and clean. The beds were comfortable and the sheets are clean. The bathroom had a moldy kind of smell in it, but it's clean and have fully functioning toilet, water hose, a water heater and a sink, so we are very happy with it. The staffs are very helpful with tips, and the location of the place is very near to Filippino market (The handicraft market), the seafood place and other main attractions are within walking distance. If you are looking for a very basic and budget room with great location at KK, I would recommend this place.

Great employees, let me use their phone to make a booking. Room itself got the job done, with our own bathroom, but not the cleanest or best finished.

This hotel will suit people who come for shopping and food only but not for cleanliness and quality of service.
