The hitel description says there is a pool. There is no pool. When i asked about this, I was told "I've been telling Hotels.com for 10 years that we don't have a pool. But they won't change the listing"

For a Motel, it was not a bad experience. The room itself was clean and much quieter than I expected. The shower, however, had a lot of mold in the corners and on the caulking. The only real negative to this stay. There was a flat screen TV, a small table and 2 chairs and a mini fridge. The desk staff was friendly. The location. Is convenient and on a main road.

We’re there last minute for a birthday trip, decided we wanted to stay. Booked this hotel quickly and it was so close to the beach! When we checked in it was a breeze, and super quick. For the location & price yes!!
The room was efficient however, it seemed to me to be unclean. The wall next to the toilet was dirty, there was a broken towel holder & hair on the towels. A couple of scrapes on the furniture and just an over all sense of uncleanliness.
We didn’t sleep with the bedding, we were uneasy about it. Also the room we received was a really dark room with our window facing another wall. Would have liked more natural light.
Checkout was just as easy, the staff member was up early and we were able to hand them the key cards directly.

Didn't like the whole stay. Too many problems to mention. Didn't live up to the rating that I saw which was "Excellent ". We will never stay there again.

I’m completely unsatisfied with the the stay and lack of attention to detail from both the property and Expedia. I’ll share details of the horrific event. Parking is offered as an amenity. There was an event going on in town and I was displaced unable to park at the property. Refrigerator is listed as an amenity to which mine was broken and the front desk did nothing to acknowledge this and my perishable items spoiled. when I contacted expedia post stay regarding concerns they advised their hotel contact was offsite. And I later was denied any reevaluation of the payment nor was I even offered an apology.

The website stated there was a swimming when indeed there isn’t a swimming pool. The room was filthy dirty. There were hair all over the bathroom floor. The location was nice. It is near the freeway exit and about a 5 minutes walk to the pier and nearby restaurants.

While it’s not a property with luxury amenities, what I love about this property is that it is walkable to everything! Amtrak drop off, shopping, downtown Ventura Main Street, and most importantly, The Beach!

Appreciated the ease of walking to main street. Shopping, food, beach, and a tattoo shop all within a 10-15 minute walk. if you are just looking for a place to put your head at night/shower i’d recommend it.

Upon arriving, There was a stench in the room and the cleaning crew attempted to mask it with a very strong cleaner that was way to potent. The parking lot needs to be re surfaced, and the overall structure of the motel 6 needs a facelift. There was a busted shower head in the bathroom with no water pressure whatsoever. My phone inside the room didn’t work and half of the lights were not working. I got what I paid for , I understand, I’m just reporting what I saw and encountered. Really hope this motel 6 location improves it’s conditions

My husband and I are medical professionals and stay here often as we don’t live in town, but won’t be returning. We had to call the front desk as someone was smoking pot and it was permeating into our room from the a/c unit. We woke up for work to find not one but two homeless people sleeping outside the door. It’s all a bit too much for $110 a night and sometimes more than that.

The location is wonderful with access to downtown and close to the beach. Its location next to the freeway was not a factor as far as noise. Nothing fancy.

Extremely noisy due to the proximity to the freeway. Refridge was ancient and super loud. Had to unplug it to sleep. Homeless encampment in the motel 6 parking lot out back. I have stayed at motel 6 in the past. This one is the worst. It was $113 + fees also. Should have been $49. OVERPRICED!

I wish they would have cleaned the sink when I was away. I told the cleaning lady that I was not going to be in my room by the time maintenance would come, but to just go into the room anyway, and clean the sink.
I also did not appreciate how the shampoo and conditioner made my hair frizzy.

Second worst Motel ever in. Hairs in the shower and towels. Literal next to highway 101. Extremely noise. You will need to pay me to stay there.

The air conditioning unit was not working. It would have been nice to have received some sort of discount on the room, as we were paying for a room that we assumed had fully functioning amenities, including but not limited to a working a/c unit.

Basic but clean and in a good location for shopping, dining and the beach. Downside is it was a bit chilly and we were told at checkin our rooms heat was broken. Had to ask for extra blankets. I’d stay here again if the heat works next time or I’d come later in the year when the weather is warmer. Overall nothing fancy but the price is fantastic.

This was a perfect stay. All we needed was a simple and clean place to sleep and this location was just that. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The only thing that was missing was a hair blower and iron. Other than that everything was great.

The front desk did not have my second reservation and room saved under my name or credit card number which forced me to call Hotels.com to get it, on a time crunch. Staff was rude, walls were paper thin, parking lot was loud. Could hear the next room through the wall. The TV didn't work.
