A beautiful century house that has been recently remodeled inside. Lovely bedroom. Excellent breakfasts both days. Very close to the market and downtown. Would stay again. Excellent service by the owner Vittorio.

Environmentally friendly soap, shampoo. I was offered a vegan breakfast, no problem.

One of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on. Zero cancellation after an accidental booking was archaic. Breakfast was reasonably tastly but still cold, no meat or egg. Would have been what I would expect from 2/3rds the price.

The house is attractive and pleasant. Its not far from a rather dodgy area, which you have to walk through on the way to the Byword Market, but its safe enough. The room was a little small but reasonably comfortable, though sound travelled through the walls. Breakfast included fresh fruit and baking as well as juice and coffee or tea. That was good. The cold overnight oats, served every day in Mason jars, was not our favourite. All in all, it was all right and met our needs as a place within walking distance of many destinations.

Nice and quiet place, close to Ottawa University, Shopping Center, ByWard Market all in walking distance. Breakfast made by Vittorio everyday is healthy, not sweet and doesn't make you sleepy after meal.As few people stay there due to the number of rooms, you can feel just like at home. Really comfortable place.

So pleasant to be in this century house that has been lovingly cared for and shared as a B&B. It is 5 minute walking to Baytown Market, breakfasts were outstanding and easy check in/check out. I will encourage any of my friends travelling to Ottawa to stay here. Thanks VIttorio for a lovely stay!

I can highly recommend this B and B. This is an excellent place to stay in Ottawa. Very beautiful home, within walking distance to many of the city's wonders and attractions and close to University of Ottawa. Only a short distance to the Byward Market for great dinners and entertainment and an easy stroll to the Parliament buildings, the Rideau Canal and the National Gallery. The host creates an excellent breakfast which is bound to please all visitors. Parking and wifi are included adding to the value of staying here.

Host is not trustful. he used my credit card to charge my room prior to our arrival to the hotel, when I only authorized for guarantee my booking. I wanted to pay by cash and he had to refund the amount to my bank account, but to my surprise he has not refunded the total amount. local area is not good, would not stay there again.

Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the best BNB's in Ottawa. Vitorrio is a superb host, owner and chef.Convenient location to all that Ottawa has to offer. Once you stay at the Century House you will be back.

It was a wonderful stay in Ottawa. I will definitely stay at the Century House again. Vittorio is very pleasant , down to earth and an excellent cook.The breakfasts were delightful !He has also spared no detail in furnishing this lovely grand house back to its original glory. I give the Century House 6 out of 5 stars !!
