Wonderful stay, quiet place, close to beach. Beautiful views

Room 10 is a studio and a converted garage with garage door windows for light, and no type of curtain creating light from outside all night through. tv remote not synced or working, shared wall with office and was very loud. Group meeting conducted early morning in office and could hear everyone as they were using a microphone. Pool is old and right outside the door. Vert noisy

Awesome experience. Property is ideally situated on the beach and also within a quick walk of downtown. Staff is really communicative and friendly. Property manager was especially nice!

Great Beach and everything within walking distance

The property is literally across from the ocean. The stqff was nice and helpful. There were some bug concerns, so I qould not stay there again.

Beautiful area and room decor was very contemporary. No air conditioning.

Villa #4 has a wonderful large balcony with plenty of seating, BBQ and ocean view. 30 Stairs up to unit. Door locks need attention. Hot water in bathroom needs attention.

the architecture of the place was interesting. My sister's and I had fun looking at all the differences in our rooms and then trying to figure out how all the other rooms interlinked. If I didn't already live in an idyllic area, I would be tempted to move there!

Location is excellent, literally steps to the beach & walking distance to Carlsbad Village with numerous dining options. However, the property is old. Acccomodations were cramped & the walls paper thin (read: noisy!). Even though the room had no natural sunlight coming in, artificial light made the room difficult to sleep in. Overall, blah.

My son and I absolutely loved our stay! The staff, especially Pam were exceptional! Everything was clean, the place was cute, it was everything we needed for a getaway. Would highly recommend.

The location couldn't be better as the property is across the street from the beach. The room itself was not updated at all. The bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was the size of a shoebox. And while I knew there was no AC, there was no cross ventilation. In addition, the outdoor pool was not clean. I would not go back nor recommend.

Close to all shopping and dining and of course the beach! We arrived early and weren't able to get into our room until about the check-in time of 4pm which was fine. They allowed us to use our parking space as soon as we arrived (around 10am). When we originally arrived a sweet girl got us all checked in and gave us our key but did not explain that there were two keys for seperate utilizations. A day or two later I tried to access our room but apparently had the "L" key which was for the laundry room which was never explained to us @ check-in. When I went to the office to inquire about the key not working for the room, the guy working that day was somewhat rude but he ended up giving me a second key to access the room. All and all great room and you cannot beat the location.

We had no hot water to shower with either morning we were there. We were told a plumber was coming on Saturday but no one ever showed up to fix it. For what it cost to stay there that should have never happened. The balcony sofa had no cushions so you couldn’t use it. It would have been nice if we had been told ahead of time that they don’t provide a box of Kleenex or any beach towels. The location and view were great but the overall condition and cleanliness of the unit fell short of what I expected.

The location is wonderful. Just steps from the beach, local shopping and restaurants. Michael was so helpful and took care of everything we needed. He provided us with beach chairs, beach towels and made recommendations for food and shopping. We loved everything about our stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Beachwalk Villas! Property Manager, Michael, was gracious, informative and fun to talk to. I love how close to the ocean it is. The view is spectacular! The only suggestion I would make is to update electrical outlet locations in rooms, or add more, for convenient charging of devices. There should also be a number to call when folks park in your spot. Thanks for a great stay. I'll be back!

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The unit we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. We had a small hiccup on our first day's stay that the owner/manager Michael took care of immediately. He is extremely pleasant, helpful, and professional all at the same time. We would recommend Beachwalk Villas for anyone that wants to be close to it all in Carlsbad Village.

Very close to the beach so totally worth it... The cooking gear was a bit limited s best to bring what you need with you...

I was a little bummed I wasn’t able to book a room with an ocean view because they were all taken. But when we arrived to the property the condo is right infront of the beach, so it was perfect. Parking was also right infront for our unit, so convenient with a baby and a 7 year old. This place was so nice we hope to stay again soon!

Great place with a ton of wonderful features. We really wanted a room with a kitchenette and this FAR exceeded that. Perfect for balancing our own meals with visiting restaurants in town. Great location as well. Only challenge was the size and usability of the bathroom. A bit awkward and small. But easily overcome and the rest of the room and location more than made up for it. Thanks!

Thank you for a wonderful stay. My communication with Mike the owner was excellent, and he was so very kind on our arrival, even offering to help with my mom. The unit was beautiful but because of the stairs my mother couldn't enjoy the whole house, however her room was so big and comfortable, and the beach so close she was very content. Thank you hotels.com and Mike from Beach Villas. The tub in the down stairs bath to high. The pool needs vaccumed But a 10 for everything else

Paid the lower rate for the room so no ocean view BUT the room was great! And we had a small patio with a bbq and if I wanted to see the ocean, it was a 30 yard walk there! Cool air day and night. The staff were so nice and courteous. Definitely going back and probably real soon!
