Plastic glass enclosed reception type of motel.. was greeted by a roach on my side of counter and had to knock on glass a few times before I was assisted…

This hotel has no conditions. The beds needs to be replaced, you can feel the springs on the beds.

This is the worst hotel i stayed till now. They dont offer any room service and we happened to use the same towels for 3 days. Room wasnt clean, bathrooms were also not clean. No room service provided during our stay. They had kne ovem and when we opened to heat food we felt like we did a grave mistake. Oven was in such a bad condition. Overall i wont recommend this hotel / motel to anyone

We checked in on Saturday we no towels no microwave to the next night the room and bathroom smelled like pure piss urine room the tv only had 3 good channels was cold and our key card keep deactivated just poor service the shuttle we had to wait and was late to work I will never go or recommend

Honestly where should I start, the bathroom flush was not working, the bathroom switch were in very bad condition and most annoying and scary thing was mouse having a good time all over the room.

I cannot really complain , I am on a budget and I got what I expected. I was just happy to have a smoking room. I do beleive the motel itself is being demolished that is what one of the locals told me.

I had a mouse run into the room and back out from the bottom of door that had a big gap. I had roaches in my room!. I went to get some ice and a baby roach feel into my cup along with the ice. Did i mention there was a roach just chillin on the counter top. Bed is warn out. And homeless people sleeping on the stairs. Never again! I wish i took pictures.

Worst service ever guy told me they didn’t work with hotels.com that they don’t rent for more than a day without even looking at my reservation proceeds to help other people ignoring me and make hand face gestures after a while he decides to ask me for id throws my id in the counter with the keycard worst experience never going back

they were very helpful getting me from the airport to the hotel both when I arrived and also when I went to New York City and came back, I got a ride back as well, saved me a $27 taxi ride though only 1-2 miles from the airport. Great location, nice staff, and good price, what else is there to discuss. Want more? Pay $250 at a Marriott - lol.

We had roaches floor had broken open lump on it that I kept tripping on the calling had hole in it definitely not best hotel bed wasn’t clean I wasn’t thinking to take pictures but last time I went there I didn’t see that but i don’t know probably because I had a tub upgrade room

i was stuck at the EWR airport for one night so stayed here. But the place really was a dump. My bathroom door wouldn't close cause the door dragged on the floor. This place could use a renovation.

We know that is a cheap hotel but please, at least the air condition can be cleaned. It had fungus!!! On the other hand, the customer service and airport free shuttle at 3:30am was excellent, less than 10 minutes of waiting.

Do not ever book this motel. If you can live with celings falling down, curtains hanging down, broken furniture, ac sounding like a train, etc. You still have to meet the most unhelpful, rude, not caring, lying to your face staf. Since we talked with 3 different staf member we really cant recomend this place at all. We needed to get a shuttel from the airport, so I called before we got on the plain to tell them when we would arrive ( that is what they had written on their paige). The man did not listen at all. He just said call again. So I did that 2 more times with the same result. So when we landed I called again. We went to the place for the pick up. A new man said it shuttle was on the way. (we new that it takes 10-12 minutes to the hotel). After 20 minutes I called again. The answere was: He is there in a couple of minutes. No he was not. I called back again after 10 minutes and now they hangd up on me 4 times. After 40 minutes I called again telling them we would take a taxi (12 minutes the trip took) then the man said it was because of the traffic the shuttle was late. No it was not. So we did take the taxi and it cost us 45$ When we got to the hotel over an hour later than we should , the men didnt even apologize to us. My husband asked to change the room and they said the motel was full but we checked it and it was not. How can anyone behave like this? So sad and disappointed. I like to have the money back!!!!!

The room, had no a/c .. was broken ( hot room! Mildew on wall and bathroom tile too Toilet seat was all scratched and yellow spots( stains)! The next room over noise and the smell of marijuana came thru my room! Awful and disgusting experience I had! I will never stay at motel 6 in NJ !

Very noisy all night. Needed to have the fan on high just to drown out the outside partying and load music.

Air conditioning didn't work holes in the wall very unsafe felt like someone was going to come in my room I know the first level.

The bed was lumpy and felt like you were sleeping on a box spring. The door to room barely closed and did not have a deadbolt. Lucky this was just an over night stay. This property needs to fix up their rooms and bedding.

For me it was perfect place for someone to relax while I am between home.

we booked two rooms out of desperation after flight delay. spent 3 seconds inside the doorway of a room and knew we couldn't sleep there. musty smell in room, BUGS (roaches) crawling on the beds, thin comforters with cigarette burns in them, I got grossed out just standing in the space. then while we waited for the uber to pick us up, it was obvious this is rent by the hour kind of hotel, many cars in/out with sex workers. made the reservations without looking at the review numbers. can't believe this place is listed.

Cockroaches! All the rooms smell like cigarettes and are grimy. If you have to choose between sleeping at the airport and staying here… stay at the airport!

Not what one would describe as a 'safe area' or surroundings. Regarding the room, desperate times, desperate measures... 1.) Only smoking rooms were available...this one definitely of weed. 2.) Deadbolt on the door missing/removed and safety chain barely attached. 3.) TV did not work. 4.) Tub had running water at the faucet, but the showerhead did not work, and no means of plugging the drain for a bath.

There was a time when Motel 6 provided a very basic, but dependable place to stay. No more. This place was disappointing.

Close to airport. Some nearby dining options. Rough neighborhood. Beds clean and comfortable, great shower but overall very run down facility. A/C unit falling off the wall, big gap between front door and frame. Constant flies coming in from somewhere. Signs all over warning about checking ID and human trafficking in the area. Ok for a quick cheap stay but not recommended for a family stay.

I arrived in hotel and they gave me a room with no Ac . I have to try hard to have a different room. There is no courtesy shampoo only a 1/2” bar soap. Everything is at the basic

I had to stay here because it was the only place I could find last minute that had 3 rooms available. Our flight was canceled last minute and I needed rooms for 9 people. It is located next to a bar that is super loud. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. One of the rooms was still dirty with towels and food from the previous guest. They had to give us another room because of that. Cops in and out all night deadbolt on door broken. Someone arrested in parking lot for having a gun in their vehicle. Only plus was the free shuttle. We should of just slept at the airport would have been a lot better!!!!!!

The smell was awful, the room was completely horrible, the ceiling was kind of falling, smelled like humidity, there were some bugs, I couldn’t sleep at all, the blanket felt so rough and I wasn’t certain about the higiene, I heard noises all night and I felt very unsafe

Wow. Words can’t describe how terrible this hotel is. I was literally afraid and I don’t scare easily. I travel the world, often alone. I’ve been to Detroit, Baltimore, Philadelphia. Notoriously “dangerous” cities and they were fine. This place was in complete disrepair. The bed was clean (I think) and I was grateful for a place to stay when my flight was cancelled. All the nearby hotels were booked so this was my only option. I checked out early and went back to the airport where it’s safe. I got no sleep because of a gang of men right outside my door from midnight to roughly 3 am. Talking, laughing, arguing in a language I couldn’t even identify. Beware.
