Great hotel, quiet comfortable room, internet was ok, Overall: highly recommended

They had the wrong room that we had booked for. They switched it to a another room , we went to the room and entered finding a woman coming out of the shower. Quite shocking. Went back to desk and told them situation and they gave us another room, once again went thru door only to find another guest in the room. So frustrated and angry went back to desk and once again gave us another room that was nice but initially had a king suite only to end up with a double suite. Very poor service and obviously not to safe. So make note to always lock your door at this location.

I booked through hotels.com and the form reverted back to the previous day, even though I'd originally chosen the correct day This meant when we arrived not only did they not have a room for us, but I got billed for our two rooms. The front desk clerk kindly got us a room at their sister hotel in Victoria, and we stayed there instead. All they had left at the second hotel were suites, which were a joke. The pull out bed had metal parts sticking up everywhere so you couldn't possibly lie on the bed. My son ended up putting the super thin mattress on the floor. The clerk at the first hotel gave me the name and number of the manager who runs both properties and suggested I call her to get a refund for the first night. I have tried calling 8 times, and she is always "in a meeting" when they ask who is calling. This is without a doubt the worst customer service ever, and the GM should be cleaning toilets not running two hotels. The contrast with our stay at the Holiday Inn in West Vancouver is startling. They were courteous, professional and I would highly recommend. Stay away!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Colwood. We were a group of 5 adults and they had a room large enough to accommodate us! We opted for the room with an extra sink but there were other rooms without the sink for less. The room was clean, as were the public areas. The location is convenient to Victoria as well as Langford and Mechosin. Adjacent to the Old Island Highway and minutes away from the Trans Canada Highway. There is a good restaurant and pub next door but not many other restaurants and services within an easy walk.

Overall this hotel is good, clean, breakfast has a lot of choices, parking is free. Coffee machine does not work and reported to front desk when checked out, hope it can be fixed/replaced for the next customer.
