Very small room with a extremely small bathroom, but clean.

Our room was clean and well presented. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

I suppose one asks to ask the question of what you expect for £65 for the night, the room itself was decorated nicely, unfortunately though, because they have used the cheapest material and furnishings possible it just looks like a bit used, the curtains are half hanging off due to clips on runner being broke, the cheap IKEA wardrobe had a split front, the matching table had a bent leg, the carpets were dirty and smelly, there were gaps where they couldnt be bothered to tile in the bathroom.... Apart from a Peaky Blinder photo on canvas, certainly not the sophisticated 1920s hotel as described, but again, for £65, what do you expect, I just see a missed opportunity to do something really nice!

Pleasant, clean, comfortable and everything you would expect. Note, no catering - these are rooms, rather than a hotel or B&B.

Thank you for a wonderful experience. Upon arrival the staff were very accommodating and made me and my daughter feel comfortable. Inside the room was beautifully laid out and me and we were happy to stay here. I was surprised at the music later at Night, which was not unbearable. All in all we were satisfied.

Rooms were clean and modern, not particularly noisy. All the basics were covered, tea, hair-dryer, iron, shower stuff including conditioner. Mattress was slightly softer than my preference (only semi-orthopaedic).

Good location, parking available. Room was clean had hairdryer iron and was tastefully decorated. The bed was uncomfortable and unfortunately was quite noisy outside through the night. The noise was nothing to do with the bar was just unfortunate .

Quirky layout of premises, with rooms upstairs through a separate main door next to pub. The bar downstairs (so handy for 'carry out'. lol). Terrific selection of wines and beers. The staff were welcoming and quick and happy to serve us, even opened a wee 'tab' for ease. Thanking James and Andy for looking after us. Our room (number 8) was tiptop, overlooking the main street (Lord Street) sat at table with tea on comfy chair in morning watching the Southport world go by! Twin beds with fresh bedding, flat screen TV, shower with two choices of height and styles. Excellent maid service every day ( we stayed 3 nights). Fresh towels and tea/coffee etc. One of the best and friendliest places we have stayed at and this being our first visit to Southport were so happy to have chosen it!

Absolutely terrible. Music played until 7am first night because they fogot to turn it off. Then, couldnt get a hold of a manager. Next night was a bit better, music blasting until 1am.
