Our second stay here and still a good hotel overall with great variety for breakfast. The room is looking a little old and could do with some new upholstery. Also, was disappointed that the heated pool was closed for wedding reception.

It is a nice place to stay. Good and convenient location. Staff is nice. Pool is bonus.

It's a lovely hotel in a good location.The Executive Suite was fantastic value and much better than The Gold Valley for same money. Some other readers griped about cleanliness, and to some extent , mildew etc on bathroom grouting is unsightly and easy to solve. Hot water not so hot , but decent enough for a long soak. Breakfast is good and on par with other 4* / 5* in the area.On the bad side, Hotel porters and security ignored us completely, not even offering a brolly or help with luggage to the tax on arrival or departure , and it was raining. Well below par compared to other premium hotels in the area.We were also slightly miffed at being charged the full day rack rate for an 8 hour extension to checkout due to a flight delay. Given that we did not take 4 breakfasts , they could have been more flexible on the overstay charge.

New Year’s Eve and no mini bar service. The main bar was closed. Had to go out to get a drink. Also 7.45 am and housekeeping opening the door to service the room.

The staff is terrible. They are rude and very mean. They will charge $ your second child (whether it’s 1 or 2 or 3 years old) who stay same room with you. I think the hotel is partially owned by the government. That’s why they don’t care about customer

Nice, very large hotel. Saw very few other guests except at breakfast. The breakfast was good, good selection other than cold cereals. Eggs cooked to order.Friendly, helpful staff throughout the hotel. Easy walking to restaurants and services.Taxis waiting at hotel so easy to catch a ride.Quiet Hotel.

Within 2mins, check-in is done. Room in great condition. Breakfast is well balanced. Staffs are warm and with gentle smile. A little walk from town center though.

Nice and spacious rooms, but very poor internet in rooms

The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to the largest attraction spot - the crazy house, and also 10-15 mints to the town center.However, on the first two nights, the stay was ok, on the last night, there was a group of local people, talking really loudly and the wall was thing, so you can hear people from the next room, which woke me up at mid-night Overall, the hotel looks a bit old with cracks on the wall etc, needs a bit of refurb; the receptionists are friendly.

Hotel was centrally located close to everything so it was very convenient. Had a tennis court & indoor heated pool which was nice because it was very cool to chilly outside. Breakfast was great. Room was roomy & very nice. Only 2 complaints...1) bathroom had a slight musty odor & 2) front desk gave us bad info about renting a moped. Other than that i enjoyed my stay. I would definitely go back & reccommend this hotel to a friend.

The room is spacious & has the view of overlooking the city. The staff however is almost non-existent. You can hardly see any staff around. The concierge forgot to return my passport when they took it upon check-in. Only realised it when I returned to the room & called the concierge to check. The hotel is quite a distance from the town.

Very nice old stylish hotel but beautiful, rooms are spacious with spectacular view, stuff excellent with good manners and very helpful.It is very central and close to the popular places to visit.Highly recommended

We visited 7 different destinations on this trip to Vietnam. This is the worst hotel we had stayed. This is not a 4 stars hotel. The receptionist staff was not very friendly or helpful. When I booked the hotel, I specifically asked for a quiet hotel room. She put us in a room facing a busy street. When we requested to change the room, she claimed that there was no other room available, but we found room available on Expedia.com and other online sites. The room is clean, but the bed is super hard, so not very comfortable. Two of the lamps were not working and the internet was super slow and unsecured. The breakfast was average. On our departure day, we went to breakfast early to catch our flight. The coffee and congee were cold, so we decided to get breakfast at the airport instead.
