I've stayed here before, but now I realize why I didn’t stey here the last time I was 8n Lake Charles. It is loud. Pipes creakal and bang in the middle of the night, like old iron radiator pipes. You can hear babies cry a floor below you, and the ice maker, which was down and across the hall, was loud even when not in use.
Other than that, the place was fine. Convenient to I10.

Mostly the stay was fine. No huge complaints other than breakfast was a complete missed opportunity. I know I was not the only one that was dissatisfied with morning breakfast. I heard the waffle maker took forever and people were just stacking up waiting in a line to make theirs. Some others complaining of things that had ran out very quickly like syrup, coffee and a few other things. I was limited on what I could have but I did try to have cereal but turned out the milk had gone bad. Also, the regular coffee would have been a Total issue for me If there had not been an espresso option. I ended up using that as my coffee since the other was so weak and it looked like tea.

Walls very thin. Could hear everyone’s conversation. Unless air conditioning was on it seemed quiet. Breakfast was nothing to brag about. Check your credit cards used to check because there were all kinds of charges!!! Beds were very comfortable!

When we checked in the front desk, clerk already getting chewed out about the elevator so that should’ve been fair warning. When we got into the room, there was fruit flies everywhere and the following morning the elevator didn’t work so we had to go up and down the stairs. And that evening, I got stuck in that elevator for 10 minutes and had to call the front desk to let me out. I asked for a refund and the front desk clerk called me late at night harassing me asking why I wanted a refund when I got out of the elevator, I’m sorry But they knew this elevator wasn’t working all weekend. It’s been two days since we checked out. I have called multiple times to talk to management and I keep getting multiple excuses. He’s either on vacation or he has Covid. I’m sure I’m not the only one pestering him.

Customer service was ok... pallets were in the lobby..we had to switch rooms..the room we were given was somewhat under construction.. the elevator didn't seem safe.. family stayed here before and it was great..but this time not so much..

The property was in a good area from where we wanted to be but the stay was awful they put us on the frist floor by the back door and other guests used that back door all night long to go in and out for smoking cigarettes so we got no sleep at all and some one was smoking in the room that cause the smoke alarm to go off at 3:00am in the morning, I will never visit this facility again .

I stayed in one of the handicap rooms. It was nice and spacious with a wheelchair access shower in the bathroom. I feel if I had a wheelchair, the bathroom would have been the best benefit. The room, although spacious, did not give much room for a full-sized wheelchair.
The room temperature was perfect and easily changed to meet a cooler night and a not-so-cool morning!
The bed - as usual - was amazing! The breakfast was delicious.
The staff were all helpful and friendly and kind.
I had an issue, and the manager was more than willing to help.

2nd floor smelled really musty in hallway. Pillows were hard. Commode lid slipped and slided when sitting down, did notify person at desk but wasn’t fixed during my stay. Curtains did not cover bright light outside. Breakfast buffet selection was limited.

Claims I never stayed there when I ask what’s taking so long for the deposit to come back to me. Said 24-48 hours. Has been 5 days since my stay. Claims I never stayed there and even though they took my ID and all information. Terrible service. Lady at checkout seemed very sketchy.

This hotel was less than exemplary. Rude front desk staff. Ice machines didn’t work. Elevator was down for 24 hours and I had a handicapped person with me who had to walk up and down the stairs. There were cracks in the walls that were seemingly taped up and our mini fridge took 2 days to work. We were to leave early and gave the front desk 24 hours notice to have our refund ready the next day. When it came to check out she refused to check us out early and would not give a refund with no manager on duty when there was a big sign saying the MOD was always there. The manager would not come in to take care of this. This was not only a problem with our stay, but multiple other families as well. We travel a lot and we will not be back.

The workers are vey nice, the elevator keeps breaking, the only ice machine working is the one in the lobby, the grass not mowed and the outside trash bins overflowing with trash and not enough employees to keep up with the cleanup. Will never book in this property again.

The surrounding area wasnt all that great, the shower in our room was molding, the lamps on both sides of the bed where rusting, the pool had full on 2 inch water bugs in it and looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months. The kitchen breakfast was meh. The check in took almost 30 minutes when we had already made a reservation and paid. I would not recommend this place we where very disappointed with the cheapness of this place.

I’ve stayed here twice before, but the quality has gone down hill. I booked a single king bed, but their cleaning staff was behind schedule when I checked in at 5pm, so they gave me a double bed (same price).
The room had a strong chemical smell, as if someone had smoked in the room and they tried to cover it up.

The place is very run down, the 1 elevator is broken (we were on the 3rd floor), toilet didn’t flush, we were moved to another room, air conditioning was not working Room was Hot and musty didn’t smell clean. It was 2:30 am so didn’t want to move rooms again. Told the front desk and wasn’t offered any partial refund or compensation.. Wasn’t even bothered or apologetic. Very Inconsiderate, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!
