Great place to stay, nice canal view on top floor. Excellent front desk service, excellent breakfast buffet. Only negative - Bathroom floor should have been cleaner, hairs !

We wanted to stay just outside the busy Amsterdam center and Hyatt did not disappoint. Staff and facility were truly excellent. The neighborhood vibe is very young, lots of University building around. Really enjoyed breakfast spots just couple of blocks away from the hotel and there is a supermarket across the street. After a long day exploring Amsterdam and sightseeing it was a pleasure to return to the hotel tranquility.

Centrally located, next to tram stop. Nice hotel, excellent staff, great breakfast. One minor issue is that it is not representative of the dutch culture. It has more of an Asian vibe. It seems as if every hotel we visited in Europe had an Asian or African theme instead of their own culture, which is why we went there in the first place. Some day we will go to Asia and hope that the hotel is Asian and not dutch.

Hyatt Regency Amsterdam was perfect for our 7 night stay in Amsterdam. We loved the location, very walkable to city center but away from the busy central area. We loved it was in a quiet neighborhood but super accessible by Metro and tram which are both very easy to navigate around the city. The service and amenities were wonderful too. We upgraded to Club access and so happy we did. The happy hour was a welcome treat after long days of site seeing. The complementary breakfast in the main restaurant was a perfect start to the day. There is also a great local bakery just down the street called Bakhuys. Worth checking out for amazing pastries and lunch. Highly recommend this hotel.

The property is beautiful and convenient but I thought I’d was in the middle of city center, it is at the edge of the center but in general is fine

You can get a hint of a hotel’s rooms from the appearance of its lobby and this Hyatt is no exception. The hotel is stylish, modern and clean. Our room was very large with a walk-in closet and a generous bathroom that included 2 sinks, a large soaking tub, an even larger, separate shower and an enclosed toilet

I was counting on a 5 star experience and was extremely disappointed

Breakfast is very good and location is not far from downtown Amsterdam. Close to museums as well.

The staffs who work in the front desk are very helpful, but housekeeping staffs definitely need more training! One day some one forgot the bathroom cleaner on the sink top; and the other day , no one wash the used wine glasses and water glasses!

When we arrived our room was ready. We were on the 5th floor and had a unique slanted full length window that overlooked the canal. Breakfast was included and was very good. We ate lunch in the bar area and they had Gluten free rolls and buns so I could eat off the menu.

Staff was extremely helpful, all of them at the front desk, restaurant and the bar. I am definitely coming back again and highly recommending as a great family friendly place to stay to all my family and friends visiting Amsterdam in the future. Thank you.

Hotel is contemporary with safe and nice neighborhood. It is a bit pricy though. Breakfast has good variety and staff is courteous and enthusiastic.

We had a great experience here! The rooms were spacious and clean, the lobby was beautiful, and the location absolutely perfect! Although the trams were quite easy to use, we walked everywhere - with 3 kids. About 30-45 minute walk to the Palace and Anne Frank museum and only 30-40 minute walk in the other direction to the Rijksmuseum. Plenty of beautiful parks with playgrounds for the kids and lots of restaurant choices within 20 minutes walking. Would highly recommend!
