We usually stay in Memphis but never had any luck with the hotels there so we decided to stay in Southaven where it seemed nicer and it was! Surrounded by stores, malls, outlets, it’s a great location!
When we arrived, no one was at the front desk for a good 5 minutes and then staff came out and was very pleasant. Checked in and had issues getting into our room but that was quickly resolved. At first glance, the room was great! We had the bunk beds and more than enough room for anyone! It was wonderful.
After finally settling in, we noticed there were still some trash in the room, the couch had suspicious stains, leftover party decor, and it didn’t feel clean at all. The tub’s handle was barely hanging on and the ring had fallen down. It didn’t feel nice but we got in late and were leaving early in the morning so we made do with our current situation. The ladder to the bunk beds are largely spaced so it’s definitely not for small children but bigger kids. Beds seem comfy as we slept but were unsure of how clean they were since the room was already in a disarray. It seemed like they just made the beds and replaced the towels and forgot to clean.
Overall, with breakfast, staff, location, and room; we were happy with our stay and would give them another chance. Maybe this was just a one off but we had a great time so we would come back and stay.

Easy and fast check-in. Needed sheets for pull out sofa, got them from front desk easily. Kids loved the indoor pool. Room was comfortable, plenty of room, shower worked, etc. Didn’t use the gym but looked nice. Will be our first choice for the area in the future.

This was our family's favorite hotel of our trip to Mississippi. We stayed at a few, and this hotel was beautiful, very clean, and staff were very kind. It even smelled nice! My daughters loved the pool, and my son really appreciated the basketball court. I, personally, LOVED the four queen bunkbeds in our room so I could have the whole family together. Our suite had a kitchen and living room.. loved the set up!

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The house keeping staff was loud and unprofessional. The alarm was set off in the middle of the night and no staff was available to assist with any guidance far as what to do or if we were safe….

The front elevator was out the entire 7 days I was there. The living room television did not get fixed until Friday, I checked in Monday. Saturday my key card stopped working.

We were given the bunk bed room and my kids thought it was the coolest thing ever. They’re begging to stay there every time we come back to Southaven for baseball now!

The property had an odd smell, it was detectable as soon as you entered the lobby. The bathroom door didn't lock, the hand soap dispenser at the bathroom sink was empty, and there was a dried red stain on the bathroom door. There were very loud children on several floors and either no oversight, or adults weren't dealing with the situation. The lobby staff were wonderful and made us feel welcome, but the accommodations in and of itself were disappointing.

This hotel was perfect for our needs in close proximity to Desota Baptist Hospital. I was grateful there was many dining options with a few minutes drive and also shopping for things you forgot to bring from home. The only drawback for us was the tv options. There were no instructions and no sports options available. When I asked for help at the desk, I was given a technical support number to call for help. Overall it was a great place to stay and I can overlook the tv issue for safety and less driving g time to dining.

We had no TV even after being assured it was fixed numerous times. Was there for 2 nights so was a real inconvenience. The bathroom was short on towels and washcloths. Ice maker broken, shelf in bathroom missing(supports still on wall) lotion dispenser was also off the wall and sitting on side of tub. No towels for full kitchen for cleaning and no extra garbage bags.

Only stayed one night but it was great! Double Queen suite with pull out easily fit 3 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast was good and staff for breakfast were so nice!

The hotel staff was very friendly. Overall the room was clean but the tiled floors in the kitchen and bathroom area had clearly not been mopped in a very, very long time. When using the tub towel to dry the floors in the mentioned locations the towel became extremely dirty almost black, a clear indication those floors don't get but a quick sweep during cleaning. The pool was put of order. Breakfast is from 0600x0900 which in my opinion ends too early.

Overall great hotel the staff were phenomenal! They have an amazing crew, every staff member was so nice. Our room was clean and what we expected. A few cons: the pool was down, which was not a huge deal since we were just staying overnight traveling through, but the kids still wanted to swim. The biggest issue was the noise we heard all night long above our heads. Our room was on the 2nd floor, all night you could hear bumping and foot traffic. It was very nerve racking and made it hard for me to sleep through the night. My husband and 3 kids didn’t seemed bothered by it, maybe it’s the mom ears lol. I made sure to tell the staff at checkout, something like that is out of their control. Breakfast was decent.

We were given someone else’s room and had to go to another room. Also, the elevator messed up. BUT the staff and services for the room recovery time was quick and we did not have to wait long. The elevator messed up but no one became stuck in the elevator and we did not have to walk down long stairs. Yes, we had some mishaps but they were not recoverable. The only thing that would have made me to give a mad review was the room cleanliness was absolutely horrible and it was not comfortable in room temperature, air or heat, broken things, bed bugs, or unclean. But this hotel was very clean, temperature of rooms was great and could be adjusted. No bed bugs, clean, and comfortable for our family of 6. So, the other was manageable

After checking in I was informed the pool was closed. This was for a shopping trip within an hour and half from home. I wasn't necessary to stay but the kids wanted to swim. They were extremely disappointed and cancelling wasn't an option cause she had already ran my card and it wasn't possible to cancel due to time anyways. The elevators did not work for the whole property as well. It was such a waste of a trip.

There was trash and dust under the table and the towels in the bathroom looked like they were used to clean the dust off of something and put back. For the price and it being a "suite" really disappointing. The hotel down the street behind best buy had way cleaner and better rooms for a better price. Ill be staying there from now on.

Just passing through and booked this a few hours before arrival. The staff was outstanding! Very friendly. The room looked nice but could’ve used a little tlc. Bed was hard and pillows were not very comfortable. Don’t know if I would book here again just for the sake of a comfortable night sleep. I like all of the dining options and if you didn’t want to eat out, you could always stay in and cook. The room was equipped with everything you need.

What a great find in Southaven. It’s close to Snowden Grove, Baptist DeSoto and the Tanger Outlets. It is close proximity to Memphis, Graceland and Tunica. For the ballet families attending Snowden Grove, the property has an outdoor basketball court, outdoor seating around a fire pit and a grill station for team meals! Special thanks to Leola and team for their excellent guest hospitality!

First of all I was given a handicap room I didn’t ask for the T V in room wasn’t working, linen on beds were stained and so was the pillows on the sofa. I made the manager aware of the situation Ms. Betty I believe that was her name told me she would reach out to Expedia and return me for two nights and only charge me for one night I’m waiting.

I liked the staff but I dont think the room we stayed in was the room I booked. The breakfast had options but some of it just wasnt tasty at all. Scratch and scuff marks on the walls and furniture in our room and an old pizza crust found in the couch...the couch had a bright pink stain on it..so did the pull out sofa cover but it was brown. We enjoyed the pool and the decorations were cool.
