The place is clean and a nice building. Staff are amaizing, they will do their best to meet resisents satisfication. When i was booking, i looked at the feedbacks and i was worried, but when i arrived at the hotel it is a different thing. Mind the rooms are not on beach side, the rooms are in quite side and fully of privacy for residents only. Beach side is the one mixed with non-residents but u have a choice of not going there. I really enjoyed my stay, and from now it will be my hotel when visited tz.

Jangwani was an excellent choice for me. The hospitality was well cultured, serving every person who walked in. What can I say about staff members? Well staffed beyond my expectations. Everyone was friendly, helpful, cleaning was to the notch. My room was impeccably clean. Thanks to the General Manager Ian and all his staff members for making my visit a memorable one. Definitely it’s a must return place and this time I’m being is my homeboys. Something to note: nothing personal towards Jangwani establishment but the business around the beaches should get together and do a clean up everyday to clear the desires from the ocean or at least the City should provide a way to clean up. A plus on this is that Jangwani offers a trip to another island to swim and snorkel for an extra fee which is ok. Congrats Jangwani! Continue the awesome atmosphere and having great staff members! I highly recommend

The executive suite was nice and very clean. Enjoyed the room, room service, all meals are delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful, no complaints there. You “get what you pay for” in the sense that the exterior of the hotel is not appealing, the swings in the pool area are outdated, the included playground, kids play area across the street is very outdated, and the entire area across the street is shared between guests and locals. This is not necessarily a bad thing as the locals are nice and do not cause any problems whatsoever, but just noting that the amenities are not “exclusive” or “guest only” as I am accustomed to. I’ve never seen a beach with so much garbage in the sand. It’s definitely not a beach for swimming but you can enjoy a little water view while eating or just sitting and talking. While I admit that I was able to enjoy ping pong, and a pool table during this stay, the amenities that I used and observed did not make up for the distance away from the main city of Dar Es Salaam where I wanted to do and experience additional things. The distance is maybe 45 minutes to an hour away from the airport and all the major stuff. Overall, the positive things I mentioned about the executive room, cleanliness, nice staff, really great food… definitely are worth the price.

I suggest to clean the beach and esspecailly dont put additional trash on the beach.

I prefer to stay at this hotel Bc if the price and amenities. This time a few issues with internet connection. I enjoy the access of the location.

The staff is friendly and always available. Their attentive service is professional. The place offers many options from restaurant to dancing and a quit pool. The massage service is top notch.

I have stayed here many times I really appreciate the attention all the staff and managers give to you thank for building great memories always

The hotel was a little less impressive than expected as per the pictures. The staff did their best to accommodate our stay with switching rooms and good service, but it was just not to the standard we expected. The hotel was kind enough to refund us the last nights stay.

Great value for the money. Facility is a little run down but it’s compensated by very friendly and smiley staff and service.

The rooms and the customer service makes this place great! The breakfast needs a lot of work, but you are able to order eggs which saves it. I cannot say enough about the staff. Everyone is so kind and willing to do anything for you. The hotel is located across the street from the beach club. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away for the weekend, this is not the place. It get loud and rowdy during the weekends and attracts a WIDE variety of clients. It is more of a party scene than a relaxing beach resort. If it were not for the loudness and rowdy crowds we would love this place. Aside from that, the staff and rooms are incredible for the price.

Food in the restaurant was good with a wide variety and reasonably priced.The small pool across the road by the restaurant area was lovely but the main pool by the beach was dirty and not well maintained. Overall though, good value for the money.

The pool in the hotel area was nice but the pool and facilities over the road in the public area were rather dirty and unappealing. The hotel is a bit tired-looking, but the room was clean and comfortable and represented good value for money.

Helpful Staff, close by Restaurant on the beach. Boat to next Island for 15 Dollar, where you can swim-sand beach.

Nice place to stay. Friendly atmosphere. I would recommend this place . Good food. The only thing I didn't like , that i was expecting half board to include at least few cold drinks (it's only 1 drink including). But i did enjoyed my stay there.

I have to agree with previous reviews. Hotel needs new bedsheets & towels. They are hosting guests at international level. This is basic for any hotelier. They do have the worst beach too. If they clean it, it would have been very beautiful. There is so much garbage. They have plenty of staff who just sits near that area. Manager needs to get the beach clean and get professional plumbers and electricians too. We also had to change rooms twice too.

I stayed there with my wife. The room was big & comfortable. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The security is very good . Down side is it’s a long way from Dar es Salaam. I had a car so no problem. But it was on the beach. The beach was very clean as were the swimming pools . It is a bit dated but tremendous value for money compared with other hotels . I have recommended it to friends & will be staying there again in November . Overall great value for money
