Extremely professional and friendly staff. Breakfast is varied and of good quality. Rooms are very clean, only area of improvement is to get new machines for the gym which are a bit outdated. We always stay in this property when in Montevideo.

Its not the best service. Could do better. Room to improve. It’s a good hotel for maybe couple of night maximum. They are not very organized.

We called in advance to let them know that we would be arriving late. We emailed our arrival info and reservation. They assured us that they would pick us up at the Montevideo airport and allow us to late check-in. When our flight arrived the hotel did not send a shuttle driver and let us know that they had given away our room. They assogned us to a non-comparable hotel. At midnight you have little choice but to stay where you are assigned.

The room was very clean, the view was excellent, the stuff was thoughtful and proactive, the facilities were great with everything you need. The breakfast has great option (although not much vegan options!) The location is particularly interesting — it’s behind the Punta Carretas Shopping — very safe and no traffic — the mall has one H&M store. The area around the hotel is beautiful, with good option of restaurants (if you are vegan or vegetarian, I strongly suggest the Mushroom Bar!) It’s great to walk around in the evening. Very close to the sea (the rambla). The parking was in the Shopping parking lot — it was free at the time of my stay, but they would start charging, so I have no information about the rates. Hotels WiFi is perfect! I advise you to use it as much as you need — not many places in the city have free WiFi when you are walking around and need directions or make quick searches in your smartphone. People in the hotel and in the city in general are quite friendly, even if you don’t speak the language.

Overall a bit disappointed. While the location is excellent, room was disappointing. While technically ok, I was not pleased. A bit sterile and worn out. Restaurant and lobby areas are great.

Our arrival impression was no impressive. Our room was comfy, clean and had good views. The bed was nice and they actually have USB plugs for charging your cell etc The service was good and prompt. There is an indoor roof top pool w amazing views. The bathroom is sufficient w nice shower and great towels. Breakfast was not up to our expectation, except there was an self serve espresso machine available w no extra charge 24 hrs a day. Upon our staying there we were able to make friends w Daniella the manager who was very helpful and friendly, she made our stayuch more pleasant. The area, location is great.Across from Sheraton and walking distance to Carreta shopping mall and a fresh market. Lots of local cafes shops and even a lavenderia. We left pleased and will stay there again

The aloft was a very comfortable hotel in a great area of Montevideo. The restaurants around the hotel are great and there is a Starbucks which was a nice treat :) The breakfast at the hotel was great and the beds were comfortable

For the price, this may be the nicest hotel in the city! Like other Alofts, this hotel is very modern, clean and has all the amenities one would need. The location is perfect too! Its right across the street from the Sheraton and the mall. Its walking distance to the beach and great restaurants and bars. Staff was nice. Slight complication at checkin but overall highly recommend. There are plenty of universal outlets and USB charging ports in the room.

Great location, property is new. Great lobby with confortable seating & fire place. Bar open during the week not just weekends. Stayed with a child during winter indoor pool was a must, clean and warm water

I love this hotel. The staff is awesome and fun. The hotel is cool and funky. Breakfast is great. Location is perfect with great restaurants and shopping all around. Great workout room. It even has co-working space in the hotel!
