An absolutely gorgeous hotel!! It was very clean and had a delicious complimentary breakfast. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel while overlooking a lake with grazing horses. The best hotel I’ve stayed at in Iceland!

Friendly staff and tasty breakfast!

This was our favorite hotel during our stay in Iceland. We had a spacious room with an incredible view of the water and we enjoyed watching the neighborhood horses. Our room had a sitting area with a small sofa and chair. All the amenities that we needed were included. The breakfast buffet was also a treat. All in all, this hotel was a real treat.

This hotel was a great find. Lovely spacious rooms - with an amazing view. The Bistro was a great spot lave to end our days of sight seeing with a fabulous meal.

Staff extremely attentive and responsive. Buffet breakfast, as well as dinner, were wonderful with many options. Facilities are very clean and cozy.

This hotel was absolutely worth the price - our room was immaculately cleaned and even better than the photos we saw. The property is very quiet and relaxing and the breakfast was very good. Would highly recommend staying here.

I loved everything about this hotel (staff, breakfast, room, view) and really wanted to give 5 stars like most other people. Unfortunately I did not like the hot water tank in the room. The shower itself was lovely, but the water tank seemed to only have enough hot water in for 1 person to shower, before needing hours to reheat. Very disappointing for two people staying who really enjoy their showers after a long day hiking.

10/10 for this property!! We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were polite and welcoming. Our room was exactly as described, was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site where we had dinner which was cooked to perfection. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options to choose from. Free parking is available on site.

This is the best hotel I’ve experienced on my Iceland Ring-road trip. The restaurant was great for breakfast and my wife and I totally enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. Check-in was straightforward and we had the lake view room - great for sunrise. And after sunset (more light at midnight) .. we had our very first sighting of the Northern Lights. I must stress that Northern Lights sightings are purely based on luck and chance, but the location of the hotel does help due to less light pollution. If you are on the Ring Road trip give this hotel look-see, I hope you will also have as much an enjoyable time as me and my wife did.

Wow what a view! You can leave your drapes open but still have complete privacy and watch the northern lights from bed.

Rooms were nice. Staff was great. We left our kindle and they called us within 15 min of checking out.

Really nice place! Only problem is the front desk won’t be available 24h. So if you need anything, you are not going to find them. The other thing is their door lock, which is very challenging. The last they should prepare some cup and box for customers who don’t have time for breakfast to have a packed one.

Lovely place, clean and quiet with everything you need. View from the rooms to lake is really great. Breakfast included which had a good variety of fresh and even some hot food too!

We loved our stay at Magma. It's a beautiful property with lovely rooms and restaurant. Breakfast was fairly standard but the beautiful dining room made it even better. The location is great for a south coast road trip. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a magnificent stay here. The rooms are clean, lovely, the views were spectacular, and the staff were extremely accommodating and nice. Food was amazing too! All around five stars.
