Breakfast buffet is great and stay is clean!!

I recently stayed at this hotel during my sixth visit to Thailand. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there was one significant issue that left a lasting impression. The Good: Facilities: The hotel boasts impressive amenities, including a lovely pool, comfortable rooms, and a well-appointed lobby. Restaurant: The dining experience was delightful, with delicious food served in a pleasant ambiance. The Not-So-Good: Front Desk Receptionist (Zee): Unfortunately, my encounter with Zee, the front desk receptionist, was less than satisfactory. When I requested an additional keycard, she rudely warned me about a 5,000 baht charge if I lost it. While I understand the policy, her tone and finger-pointing were unnecessary. A more polite explanation would have sufficed. Cultural Sensitivity: As a black man, I’ve encountered misconceptions in the past. Zee’s behavior made me feel uncomfortable, especially when she assumed I might not be able to pay my bill. I reminded her that I’m an American with no financial constraints. Other Observations: Staff: Thankfully, the other receptionists were courteous and exemplified the warmth typical of Thai hospitality. Location: The hotel’s position on a one-way street near the freeway can be inconvenient for travelers. Exiting requires either a freeway U-turn or navigating several blocks via backstreets. Nice and clean, staff were very professional and helpful.

Lovely rooms and bathrooms. Everuthing feels brand new. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast has a very good range of food.

Unable to regulate water temperature, the water fluctuates between boiling hot and cold, very inconsistent. Our room key quit working twice. The refrigerator in our room didn’t work at all. The quality of food at the restaurant was not good. But the beds were comfortable and the room was kept clean.

This is not a RESORT, it is a very good airport hotel. The food is very good The hotel is worth the price

I do not think they are 5 dtar but 4 or little below. They do not really have facilities other than sleep.

This place is Amazing Beautiful Hotel and Our Room was Fantastic. I Highly recommend this Hotel to Everybody The Hotel Staff is Very Professional and Friendly.

This is a nice hotel overall. There is a huge mall just down the road from it as well. Everything is driving distance within 10-15min. Hotel staff were all kind and helpful and the breakfast buffet was great.

This is a very comfortable hotel but it’s location does not make it easy to walk anywhere. The staff were kind enough to call taxis but we prefer to be able to walk in the neighborhood. Breakfast was very good.

Property is brand new hotel which replaced old one. Very clean and staff nice. Hotel is being run for company meetings and weddings. Expensive ,ie. 70 baht for room ice ect.. Transport is an issue as not in a good location for local walking and shops. Not many tourists as mostly Thai staying here. Buffet good and staff very nice. Better bang for buck can be found.

Everything from the rooms, the staff, complimentary breakfast, were fantastic. Great location away from all the hostels/party scenes, but still close enough for cheap cab rides just about anywhere. Can’t say enough about the staff, so wonderful. Don’t miss this hotel if you plan on staying in Chiang Mai!

Great hotel, clean and cosy. Its not in the city center, but depends on your activities. Museum, zoo, and biggest malls are in a walkable distance. Room service is great and its one of those hotels which are CLEAN. Really liked it, have kids friendly swimming pools too.

There was apparently a problem with my reservation. I was sure we booked a pool access room (this was Part of our honeymoon). But instead we got a room on the top floor in the corner with a view of the warehouse next door. When I called the front desk to ask about the mix up, they essentially said “you didn’t book that room” and if you did “prove it.” They took my reservation Info paper at check in and never gave it back so I called back and asked for that back and she told me I could come get it. Just not the kind of service you expect when checking into a semi nice hotel. Otherwise, it was clean, well kept and breakfast was included (not the best- but free). Also, the location is not good. It’s on a major highway and north of town so walking is not really an option. We had to get a 10 min plus grab or taxi everywhere we went. Not the worst place I’ve stayed but I wouldn’t go back.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, the bed was the most luxurious and comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and the shower was hot and great pressure- I highly recommend Wintree!

Great hotel, clean, nice service, great bed, clean shower, great lobby, a small gym and 3 pools. The hotel and the region was that nice that I decided to stay one night extra.

Great room, clean & comfy! It is also very new! breakfast is great also and great deal! Definitely would recommend to people who visits Chiang Mai!

Very nice place to stay at.

First of all, the location is inconvenience! It is new and the room is big but the facilities are like a 3-star hotel rather than a 5-star. All TV channels are in Thailand language only, no convenience shops nearby.... very small swimming pool

Second time to stay here !! Still the best service. Good breakfast !! some menu are changed but very very good.
