April is Amazing

Casa Lajagua was simply the perfect start for our Panama adventure. The rooms are spacious, well kept and clean, not only the kids were thrilled with the pool and hammocks. April and her team are wonderful hosts, they really did everything to give us unforgettable days. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, the smoothies another highlight. Thank you very much for this great experience!

Our stay was amazing. The property owner, April, is on site to make everything perfect for your stay. She also arranged for our whale watching excursion which was totally awesome. The property is within walking distance to town and is a lovely maintained property. I highly recommend Casa Lajagua.

April is a great soul and surrounds herself with people that share her quality characteristics. She really knows how to run her business, the area and all of these things culminate into a great experience because she cares. Beto is a genuinely great person and it shines through in the way they run things!

I loved this place! Breakfast was great, close to town and walkable, clean and safe and the hosts were super courteous and helpful! I just wish they didn't have Spanish daytime television on in the main seating area all day. I liked this place because there were no tv's in the rooms, something I avoid especially when on vacation. It could sometimes be heard while we were in our room and could definitely be heard while sitting outside our room in the hammocks or at the pool so we chose not to hang around the pool like we originally planned.

The property was beautiful, our stay was relaxing and April and her family were very nice and we felt very comfortable. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfort. Close to a few good restaurants and a short walk to a store. April provided us with a delicious breakfast every morning. She was very knowledgeable of the area and able to answer any questions we had. I would recommend staying here.

The beaches - El Arenal and Venao - were great!

The property has a nice layout and beautiful courtyard with the hammocks right outside your room is very inviting. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and was given choices for breakfast. I like that. The rooms could use some improvements

Casa Lajagua es un muy bien ubicado, tiene habitaciones amplias y limpias, los baños también son amplios y estaban muy limpios. Hay espacio para estaciónale el auto, una pequeña pócima, are de desayuno abierta pero bajo techo y una pequeña sala de estar. Nos gustó mucho la estadía, pero la mejor parte es la atención. Es un lugar donde te hacen sentir como parte de la familia, April y Beto harán todo los posibles para que estes cómodo, te darán los mejores consejos sobre qué hacer donde comer y hasta como continuar tus vacaciones cuando te retires del lugar, son excelentes personas MUY acogedoras, definitivamente queremos regresar.

April was a great host! She was very knowledgeable of the area and made us feel at home immediately. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable. We’ll definitely be back!

The staff was great! April, Beto and Lourdes were so friendly and welcoming. They were always asking if there was anything we needed. They recommended several local restaurants (all of them were great) and were very helpful on just about anything in the area. The hotel is close to town, the room as comfortable, breakfast was amazing. Glad we stayed here.

Best international hotel experience I’ve ever had! The owner of the hotel is very friendly and personally cooks breakfast whilst being available for all sorts of recommendations! Highly recommend

April and Beto were terrific hosts! Suggested different restaurants to try, best beach areas and all the information we could possibly need for an enjoyable stay! We will be back!

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. April, the owner, was a great hostess and provided everything we needed. She was a wealth of information and her suggestions were spot on. We will stay definitely stay again.

We loved staying at Casa Lajagua!! April & Beto we excellent hosts, their top notch hospitality left us feeling welcome, safe and at home. The daily included breakfast was delicious. We loved the homemade smoothie made mostly with fruits from their own garden. We found a Home away from Home. We are already planning to return and highly recommend Casa Lajagua to anyone considering a stay! They will not disappoint ❤️

Loved the freshly made tropical smoothies April prepared for us everyday. I enjoyed the properties landscape and gardens it exuded peace and calm. The hammocks were very relaxing - I loved them so much I bought 2 for me to bring home . The bar is an added luxury and prices very affordable. I have read the reviews and this is why I chose this hotel for our weekend getaway to Pedasi. Our group of four adults arrived around 5 pm on Friday, June 29th. Upon arrival, we went to the bar area where we were greeted by a very friendly young lady who proceeded to check us in and gave us the key to our room. We opened the room and were overcome with an unfamiliar and quite unpleasant smell. It seemed to permeate the entire room. That said, we told the young lady that we could not stay in the room and asked what other accommodations could be made. She said she would call the owners and see what could be done. After 30 minutes, the owners arrived, walked up rather abruptly and very rudely told me that the grounds were non-smoking and to "go out in the parking lot for that", as she gestured in a smoking fashion and admonished the young lady for allowing me to smoke (outside) on the grounds. We told them that the room was uninhabitable and they responded that they had sprayed for mosquitos with a natural spray that was not harmful and that it's "normal". We told them we could not stay in that room and they said that's fine, we'll cancel your reservation and you can leave. No other optionNice, leave the four of us in a lurch so you can go back to the fishing tournament? We had an amazing stay at Casa De Campo and will never return to this establishment again. We live in Coronado and will ensure everyone we talk to knows how we were treated.

April and Craig go out of their way to make sure that their guests have a wonderful experience not only in Pedasi, but in Panama as a whole.

Casa Lajagua B&B will always be one of our most favourite and cherished accommodation destinations. I can't say enough good things about April and Craig the owners and hosts who became friends. The breakfasts were gourmet meals. April is closely involved with the community and regularly made dinner reservations for us. We would gladly recommend all the restaurants we tried. We stayed for 6 nights and were sad we had to leave. The pool and landscaped grounds gave us the impression that we were in paradise.
