The attention to detail to make your stay as pleasant as possible was evident and appreciated! The bed was very comfortable and the hostel itself was quiet. It was very walkable to upper and lower town as well as to the parks and the train station. We would stay here again!

Very well located, our room was very clean and comfortable, amenities on the hostel are nice, they offer free tea, coffee and drinks The lady on the front desk was very nice and friendly, she gave us some recommendations for restaurants. The hostel entrance is a little scary and not nice at all but once you are inside everything is good

Dots is a clean, well run hostel that is a fifteen minute walk from the bus station and about a fifteen minute walk to Lower Town providing a good base to explore Zagreb. It is also a few blocks to the Advent Zagreb festivals! Make sure to ask for a cappuccino in the morning since it is not self-service.

I loved my stay here and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are super clean and the common space is huge. It’s also two blocks away from the main tourist areas, so this location is so ideal. Thank you so much for a lovely stay and I will definitely come back again next time I visit Zagreb.

Awesome place for basic accommodation. My room was clean and spacious. The common area is comfortable with amenities. Staff super friendly and speak English. Only thing is the bed was a bit hard (I don’t mind but some might) and the street can be loud on a Friday night in Zagreb. Would stay again!

Amazing place to stay in downtown Zagreb. 5 mins walk to main tram line. Friendly & efficient checkin. Nice room that was quiet & comfortable despite the warm weather.

What a lovely place! A bit to quiet for my taste as guests aren’t interested in meeting, but that could just be todays traveller. Staff is friendly and helpful; rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

Do not be fooled by the outside of the property which is awful, Once you enter the building, it is another story. The reception area is cheerful with lots of seating. The kitchen area has free tea and coffee all day, and tables to eat breakfast etc. The bedroom was very clean and the en-suite had a very powerful shower. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Outside felt sketchy and the building smelled like cigarettes but I wasn’t too bothered by it, good neighborhood, clean inside, beautiful rooms and nice staff. Would stay again

The Dots Hostel was perfect for us. A family of 5 we used the family room with private bathroom. Everything was spotless, beds were comfortable, place was quiet. There are lockable cabinets for each bed to secure your belongings. Nice common area and fantastic location. My kids liked it better than the hotel we used to stay at.

Great place, close to the city, good price

I booked a private room and they allowed for early check in. Location is near to old town and 4 tram stops away from main bus station. Super clean and receptionist was so helpful and friendly.

Pleasantly surprised upon our arrival, especially considering the grimy doors we had entered on the ground floor! Definitely a hostel, but had unexpected amenities like biscuits in our room and complimentary shampoo. Came across a couple of termites in our room, but what’re you gonna do? It’s an old building. We had a family suite with a private bathroom, which was bright and clean. The girl at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Mattresses are quite tired (could feel the bed frame underneath throughout the night), but this was a great fit for our family for a quick overnight in Zagreb.

Convenient clean place. Only issue is there being no plug socket next to the upper bunk.

The good: The room is big and clean. The bed is comfortable.The staff were ok. The cleaning lady is good. There is soap dish and shower caddy. That's really a big plus!The bad: The bathroom stinks! It looks clean but it stinks so bad. Also, the toilet is not very convenient to use. It is very small and you have to squeeze your way in and out just to close and open the door. Really bad engineering. One time I took a shower before someone else and I had to endure cold water just to finish showering. The shower curtain smells like pee especially when it gets wet. It's really gross. It smells like cigarette smoke in the hallway sometimes, from another guest room, and from the front door when staff smokes outside but leaves the door open. Wifi only works in the lobby which is a bit inconvenient when you want to go online before going to bed. The lobby is ok except for the smell of smoke.

The hostel is very close within walking distance to the city center. The staff was extremely nice and friendly and the rooms and toilets were clean. We stayed just for one night and had to leave early in the morning, but we would definitely stay again.
